I was at this show. It was great! Club 99 is long gone. I think it was on Aurora/Route 99. It was a smallish club with actual tables, like a dinner theater. I think it was primarily a blues/jazz venue. Me and a friend had free tickets through the college radio station where we worked. We also interviewed Jimmy Gestapo, the singer for the opening band, Murphy's Law from NYC (nice guy). We arrived a few hours early and got a table and were waiting for Jimmy Gestapo when my friend said, "Turn Around, the Ramones are right behind you." Sure enough, I turned around and all four of them were quietly walking past our table, all decked out in leather jackets like their album covers, on their way back stage. No one really noticed them. The club was still pretty much empty. That brief moment is one of my favorite show memories. Yep. I think this was Dee Dee's last tour with them. Love them always. Ramones forever!

Well, I was there so I am know it was Club 99. I live in Seattle. The Showbox is downtown and I am positive they didn't play there on 6/29/89. I saw an online list saying they played the Showbox in 1989 too. It's wrong. The only other thing I can think of is that you have the date they recorded this wrong. Is this another show, maybe? They may have played at the Showbox some other year, but absolutely NOT in 1989.

@@Bradwillrockyou A year late, but you're right Brad. Club 99 was a bit north of the Seatac airport on Highway 99. I was there also. Great show. I also saw them when they played Bumbershoot in the Seattle Center Memorial Stadium

I was at the show - great night for music. The funniest thing I remember was that crappy Tom Cruise movie Cocktail came out in 1988 and all the bartenders at Club 99 were doing that stupid throw-the-bottles-in-the-air crap when they poured you a drink. So that was dumb, but the show was great - I think Murphys Law & Leeway were the support bands.
