This show took place in the Our Lady of Lourdes gym/auditorium.This was one of the greatest nights of all time for Queens Village!A show just for us.Had them play 2 years in a row.We climbed up to one of the 2nd floor classrooms from the outside to talk to them before the show.my mom had her grade school plays on that stage in the 50's.Thanks for the video.Have never seen the whole show on film.Most footage I've ever seen is about 12 minutes.

I was 14yrs old and we snuck out of the house, traveling form Forest Hills to catch the show, which I still can't recall how we got there or how we even knew about it (pre-internet) but I stood the whole time front row directly in front of Johnny just gobsmacked absorbing the phenomenon trying not to get trampled on in the mosh pit! The intro was overwhelming with the roadie leading Joey out w/ the flashlight, then Johnny and Dee Dee mounted like gargoyles on both sides. As a kid exploring sexuality I remember thinking Joey's wearing a pink shirt, does that mean he's gay (obvi not, oh well lol). SO FREAKIN' AMAZING to relive this gig in its entirety again. -- Thanks for uploading! ! ! !

I was there standing about mid-way on the South bleachers. I wore military issue ear plugs to cancel the terrible gym acoustics noise. That way I could enjoy the music. All I really remember was Joey saying "It's great to be back in Queens- 1 2 3 4!!" Then they tore into it. AWESOME!!! Where has this been hiding for 31 years?!?
