People can say all the negative stuff in the world about Spector and they would probably be right but what you can’t take away from him is his genius at production and songwriting. Critics were so wrong about this track. It’s legendary, it’s a classic and it will survive us all. Masterpiece.

Ramones sung this first it is their song. I remember when I was 15 I saw them at The Rainbow theatre in Shepherds Bush London. I went with some of my school friends to see them. The Ramones were an Iconic Punk / Rock band of the 1970s. They were great....

Here's the thing: The Beach Boys were such a great band they influenced almost everyone. The Ramones loved The Beach Boys as evidenced by this cover. It's straight up Beach Boys with Spector production.
