I found a place selling ramp seeds online, is it worth it for a city dweller to buy these seeds and try to grow them? i have a small side yard garden.

Worth a try but they need a very specific soil type, sweeter soils that are a little tiny bit wet ideally in a mature hardwood forest.

@@ROOTSSchoolVT well there are a lot of maples in my neighborhood, not quite a hardwood. thanks for answering btw. but what do you mean 'sweeter' soils? Also literal tasting... not an option in this neighborhood. >.> i grow in containers for a reason. I vaguely remember some geologists will lick rocks. I have a decent amount of shade but the community garden where about half my gardening happens is very dry and we've had a lot of dry summers.

If you have a creak, river, or pond on your property plant them on the top of the bank in spread out locations.

The ones that has stripes on leaves are no good.found this out years ago.If you rake the leaves back,dig a area and cover back over with leaves they will multiply.everywhere I've dug in past 30 years is covered.💪😇🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
