Do you travel with the tailgate down? Does it not get damaged at all. I have a short box Ford 2021 and would like to have this setup but concerned about tailgate issues?

wht about the damage ur doing to ur fork seals by over compressing thm? only suposed to be tight not compressed

I always put the soft straps around the lower fork when the fender mounts . That way you are not compressing the forks

Does not seem to be the best nor safest way to load and unload an bike. At one point while loading, I thought the lift was going to break when it binded/caught on something. When unloading, I thought the lift was going to break and I would see the bike fall. Besides, that took a long time to do. I think I'd rather spend that money on a small trailer.
