This is my first KZbin review post. Anyways I wanted to make this for all the people out there like me. That when they install something it's not all smooth and crisp lines. Lol. Hope it helps.

Great Tip, I just went and gave mine a trim. Worked great!

Did you just install it? I still love mine

I just purchased this top for my '21 JLU, I installed it over the weekend. Seems that some of your suggestions were heard. The pressure points at the back don't seem to be too bad any longer. I have to agree with you 100% though, put these panels out in the hot sun for a while before trying to stretch them over the body....

Would you still recommend this top? I like the fact that you can store the rear windows in the top itself in that rear pocket. Don’t know of any other tops that do that.

Most definitely. Still love this top. So far the only thing I have had to do is change out the Velcro cause the adhesive just wore out. Not unusual. Still worth the money

@@m_e_t_5744 right on. Good deal. Does it come with everything you need to install? The door surrounds, front/rear bar, etc.

@@TrailExpedition comes with everything. Just do it on a warmer day so the canvas top is easier to work with. Lol

@@m_e_t_5744 thank you sir! Heavily considering this top as I like the fact that I can keep it covered while driving to trail systems. Then, when I’m there, take the back windows out and have a convenient place to put them. Priced at a little over $700 seems like a solid deal.

I’ve been looking into this soft top model, except my exact model has the rear tonneau cover over the trunk. Whereabouts are you living? I’m up in Newport RI and I’m just worried about this in the snowy conditions here in NE
@m_e_t_57446 жыл бұрын
Devin Cutting It's a nice top. Very convenient on nice days. I live in Central VA. I can say it will hold 4-5" of snow with no problem. But me personally I had the same worry so if we do get 3 or more inches I brush it off just for my own piece of mind.

I know this post is a little old but did you ever come up with a way to fix that gap
@m_e_t_57444 жыл бұрын
I never did. Talk to a few people about it and they all have similar gaps. The more I think about it I think it just way the body was made on the Jeeps cuz the gap is inconsistent
@Jlui836 жыл бұрын
what did you end up doing for the passenger rear door gap?
@m_e_t_57446 жыл бұрын
Jlui83 so I tried to loosen that side up and adjust it (didn't work). So I tried pushing that side towards the windshield and rescrewing that helped slightly. Haven't tried anything else.
@Jlui836 жыл бұрын
MET 5 are you getting any leaks from that? Or more cosmetic?
@m_e_t_57446 жыл бұрын
Jlui83 no. A little air. But no big deal

I have the same problem with the gap on the passenger side. If you ever figure out how to fix it, please let me know. Mines a smittybilt but I had and have the same issues.
