Rams build COMMITTEE of pass rushers in our latest 2024 Mock Draft, while still addressing Offense!

The Rams have kicked off their offseason program as of today, and the 2024 NFL Draft is just 10 days away! We looked at two specific factors when finalizing our 2024 draft selections: the direct message we received from Rams COO Kevin Demoff, and the recent comments from Vice President Tony Pastoors on how to re-build his defensive line. Instead of building it "from the inside out" with Aaron Donald, we think the Rams will have a committee of pass rushers (both interior defensive lineman and EDGE rushers) for this upcoming season who can all contribute in different ways. EVEN if the Rams prioritize offense at the top of the draft!

I think A.D. changed expectations for the D tacle position. Much like L.T. did for outside Linebacker. A.D. forced big paydays for guards similar to Left Tackle. In 5 years inside pass rush will be as important as the outside.

I read this defense theory already over at Rams KZbin... by a blogger. Basically, both needs, ya have Young already on 1 side...ya have Shula the Linebacker DC, do Rams get an OLB EDGE & ILB stud for front B7... because DT's are fairly deep this draft...not much drop off because there is no dominant DT like years past drafts.🤷‍♂️

If #19, I believe BPA that has most immediate impact at a position of system need: a top notch OT/WR/TE versus DT/Edge... anything other is a failure as far as I am witnessing. Lot of money on the O-Line interior just to have an injury with inferior back-ups...and OT has zilch already for do your job back-ups...🤷‍♂️

Totally agree with you guys on constructing 2.0, but Snead had 9 years to DRAFT other stud rushers to pair with AD...he did zilch. Same with another DT until KT which was too late imho. Committee or not, players have to show up, results.

ugh you do realize that this years edges and DTs are subpar compared to recent years. yes the rams need an edge, but let's not force an edge just for that sake. The rams knew that AD was leaving, and the DT in this draft can get gotten in later rounds. In fact-- I feel Desuan Johnson is as good or better that Kobie, so we have DL coverned-- as lets face it, the chance of AD2 really is slim to none. we all know that rams needed oline for 8 years+, and we didn't address it til last year, so Snead has never drafted based on need. snead has also only had 1 good draft since he's been here, and that was last year. many of his drafts he has forced issues, like atwell, Austin, noteboom, Allen, everitt, decobie, etc...; and hence he has had to f them picks to cover up his mis drafts. This draft, we need to take the best player, regardless of position. this year is a wr deep draft, with a spinkling of Lts and 2 cbs. there will be a lt or wr at 19 and that's where we should go with pick 1. We also need a real LB that can cover AND run defend, and for the longest time we need a bona fide FS. The rams have been playing with SSs for years now. And yes. Kamren is a Safety with SS speed, not a true center fielders speed-- so lets finally address that too.
