Your fantastic music 'cloudy skies was rather apt, its so unique your music played on your vlogs. Loved the sheep, running & sitting so cute. Hubby & i was inspired on Sunday and went for a walk at Moses gate country park Farnworth , but avoided muddy tracks, really enjoyed it and felt so much alive when i got back from our walk and made a lovely Sunday dinner😊 Shanita & Michael so glad we found your channel ( through Patrick, Solitary rambler who we love ) I smiled when you mentioned that Mickey mouse balloon lol😊 Ps, Michael was correct about those lines across the water! To stop herons from stealing fish it blocks their flight path. Michael is clever ha ha 😊

That's a new route for us, we have done a few in that area including a canal walk from Littleborough to Walsden and Gorpley Clough. Naughty Michael, teasing you because of your vertigo. Wonderful uplifting music 'Cloudy Skies' Shanita. Your comments on 'this camera lark' made me laugh.

I know I tend to come out with comments in spur of the moment. We have done a few routes in this area but to be honest I'm more than happy to do easy canal walks than anything too challenging. Thanks for noticing my music too Steve. All the best

Hi Shanita, another lovely walk. I'm not overly keen on heights myself to be honest, but strangely I find some of my favourite walks are the ones where there are steep drops! 😆 Amazing to see those turbines looking absolutely still. Great washing line across the pond too! 😁 "Cloudy Skies" was ye another great score from you, enjoyed the 7th chord with minor chord progression. All the best 👍

It's interesting to know others have the same feelings about walking on paths with deep vertical drops. Its just the fear of loosing my footing or tripping over. As you say the views below though are awesome. I guess the humour keeps coming out even about washing lines! I'm pleased Cloudy Skies went down well and you noticed those minor chords. Have a great weekend Patrick and all best to you.

That was lovely, thanks. It has been even wetter than usual in these parts.

I always look forward to your video, Shanita. The cinematography and music are amazing. That was certainly a steep drop-off from that path. I think those motorcycles are a bit of a menace. I have had 5 or 6 zip past me at once. Beautiful waterfall through the woods, too. I don't like doing the selfie either. I never used to show my face apart from at the trig. I don't like it, but people were asking me to appear in the video more often. Michael's recall of past walks is amazing. He really teased you at the end with the alternate walk back. It is really boggy out there. I know we need rain, but it seems to have rained constantly since October. I really enjoyed this video, Shanita. Thanks for sharing.

That's incredible 6 bikes passing on your walk. Not sure how they can be monitored despite warnings. I'm certainly not a confident walker with steep drops. I try not to look down. That's interesting about you similar reaction to selfies. Easier if someone to respond to in a conversation. I get the same comments about showing my face, but prefer being behind camera.🙂👍

@@davidkeel Just noticed your comments under Chris Bentley's Comments. Just checked out my comments at 13.37. I was referring to doing Selfies, e.g. "this camera lark doing selfies - I'm really not into..."

That looked a really interesting route Shanita.....I traced it on the map. Some of it I walked about 25 years ago, but a lot was new to me. A shame about the off-road bikes, they infuriate me!
@CountrysideWalking9 ай бұрын
Those motor bikes churning up track routes are a real pain, but as mentioned before, even though illegal how can it be monitored. If interested I have put a link under description above of the map route on OS maps. Also on my Facebook page too. I think Michael often discovers his routes have changed over time, Thanks for watching and comments Chris. Have good weekend.

That's true about the fresh air with all that open landscape. But it's nice to loose oneself in the open country around. Also when not too far away to find. Many thanks for feedback.

A lovely video...a lovely walk..always enjoy your gentle videos, they are so relaxing..shame about the motorbike...some people think that rules do not apply to them

I agree about the motorbike riders disregard for the beauty of the countryside. Glad you enjoyed our walk though. I like to relive them myself when watching back on video. Thank you Steven🙂

Nice video Shanita.. some lovely scenes in parts of it... I noticed that you felt a bit worn out with all of the filming .. maybe just record the nice parts of a walk and you could give yourself a break in the not so nice bits.. ? No one here is expecting to see the whole route. it's good that Michael shows the map... most videos don't show that.
@CountrysideWalking9 ай бұрын
Yes I know I tend to cover as much as possible, mainly as a reminder of where we have been for my benefit as well as subscribers. Also from inspirations at the time. (Can't remember when I said I was worn out from all the filming though ! Quite a bit of film is deleted too.) But hope it doesn't become too much of a drag for you to watch. You can of course always skip bits - if too much. At least glad the maps help other walkers with routes to try out. Thanks for all your advice David.
