The center spar joiner is made with a hinge allowing the wing halves to twist like a propeller for improved yaw control in hover. Even without the central hinge the wing is very flexible in torsion resulting in "aileron reversal" which means they move in the opposite direction from normal ailerons.
The next step is to modify the flight controller programming so it will take off vertically and then twist into the shape of a propeller, allowing it to fly as a spinning rotor like a helicopter without a body.
