I like this story. Mc started off annoyingly competitive and I knew people like him in high school. Wether it came to sport or grades. But when Aira asked him out in college it made him realize he was being one sided in his made up competition and decided to try dating and he enjoyed it. He moved on from his competition and dated Aira. Then they broke up and FMC came back. He realized he was competitive with her but didn’t even see it himself. Again, something I’ve seen people do. And she liked him as well so they decided to give this a shot. Now let’s talk about the ex. Like mc said, at least she told him she had feelings for someone else before he proposed. What I don’t like about her is that she tried to get back together with him like she didn’t leave him for someone else. Now I don’t know if she cheated or not but I wouldn’t be surprised after how quick she tried to go back to the mc.

I agree with all but the last two sentences. She respected MMC enough to break up after realizing she liked someone else after 9 YEARS of just dating! How was she to know if he was EVER going to propose? If MMC hadn't seen FMC1, then he might still have been single and gotten back with FMC2. He wasn't, so the point was moot. There was NO evidence of cheating! She was honest and didn't disrespect MMC. She realized her error after a YEAR (so, not that quick) and went back to MMC. Unfortunately for her, MMC and FMC1 had reconnected and were dating. She ACCEPTED that MMC had moved on, and didn't fuss like we've see cheaters do.

I disagree with the cheating thing. She wasn't like the vast majority of ex-girlfriends in these stories who cheat on the MC, laugh at him for not noticing, and then brutally dump him to be with their affair partner instead. (bonus points if she ruins the MC's reputation by saying _he_ cheated _her_ instead of the other way around) Instead, she told him she found someone else and they broke up amicably. Kaito was SO obsessed with BEATING Reiko at something, he never stopped to consider WHY he needed to beat her. But once he had time to cool off, and after his failed relationship with Aira, he was able to accept the truth, moreso once Reiko Admitted she admired his willingness to try new things. This was a nice story, and yeah, the MC in the end beated the future wife in one thing: *REAL LIFE STUFF* . In fact, despite the MC was always behind her (and dealt with real life stuff in the meantime), the girl probably never had the occasion to deal with them...and in fact, when she went abroad, she admitted herself that it was a total failure. Also, I liked how the MC moved on from the *competition thing* about school without having regrets and such (I mean: he admitted it was a waste time of time because in *real lfe* , there more important things than some *school grades* ). Damn, I was kinda hoping Aira would leave on decent terms and didn't ask to come back. She seemed like a really nice girl too. It's unfortunately not an uncommon thing to fall out of love with someone (though finding another love right alongside your current love might be a bit...). Then if they met up again, it would be awkward but they'd still wish each other well. I guess the whole 180 really took me out of it. Happy for Kaito to be with Reiko. I totally get the whole rival perspective though. Just glad everything worked out!

Really? MMC took 9 YEARS!! And he hadn't proposed yet? He was about to, but after 9 YEARS of just dating, you can't expect her to not look elsewhere! AND ... she didn't cheat on him. She told him she developed feelings for another and broke up with him, unlike some "modern" women that would just cheat. It wasn't like she actually cheated on him and then came back. She broke up with MMC and didn't disrespect him by cheating . If MMC hadn't seen FMC1, hired her, then realized he always liked her, AND her finally confessing to him, MMC would probably have gotten back with FMC2. One mistake Aira make is she let her chance with Kaito and try new relationship instead to keep faith long relationship. after her relationship not working, she think will go back with Kaito because its easy to continue with ex boyfriend with knowing his well for 9 years, no you are wrong. in many case your ex mostly will already have new lover or wife since brokenheart man is easy to approach you know 😏 ok she not cheating, but leaving her lover for another man mostly result man will never trust and go back again with ex like this case and chance to get together with ex-bf is very low. maybe if Aira not broke with Kaito, they will be married and even Kaito meet Reiko he will not leave Aira. Something like that happened to me a couple of months (18 to be exactly) with a little exception: I'm single and didn't had anyone else on my side but I'm good anyways. This took place a few months ago when my now ex-gf cheater asked me to take her back as life is being so hard for her but of course, i declined, once a cheater, always be. The law scene is completely different in Japan and the states. In Japan it’s usually about arguing against the judge not a jury. Unfortunately defense lawyers lose all the time because the judge makes a judgment without council. In the states lawyers make arguments in front of a panel of citizens and they call witnesses and stuff. The jury decides the verdict while the judge keeps order and recommends a sentence or not. Also evidence has to be presented which is argued out while paperwork can be filed to allow certain pieces of evidence in the courtroom. Unfortunately DNA cannot be suppressed due to certain statutes. It’s a process.

It was too harsh. She didn't cheat on him. She decided to give someone else a chance after dating 9 years without a ring. She didn't stalk or harass him. She didn't know he was with FMC1. And she accepted on the first attempt to get back together with the MMC that he'd moved on. All in all, it was definitely unnecessary and too harsh.

I like the male VA was not your typical loser introvert or perfectly boring and average, but actually decent looking, good at school and sports, had friends, and became successful. And I also like that he tried to date Aira and didn't sit there pining / focusing on Hoshiya, as would have been typical with manga dubs - even if it didn't work out and she at least emotionally cheated on him. And the relationship developed well with FMC - I like how she got all possessive towards the end. Female VAs voice was off - not sure if she was going for kuudere in the start of the video or what. And the recording quality was off. Thumbs up though - it's hard finding decent manga dubs like this nowadays - way too much crap out there.

First what happened to the voice here in the end? The voice sounded different and more than one the last months. The beginning of the story is lame the girl didn't show any interest in Kaito and he was like he later said a big idiot such a long time. Aira is an idiot to she helped him go out of the tunnel he was in and they get together. Later she destroyed her happiness. Must say all voices sounded a bit like a roboter. No emotional at all. The end is great but the voices sounded a bit boring so often. Kaito is emotional as he try to compete but this was it. Good story but Reiko is a bit emotionless.

It’s so sad how the quality of these videos have so drastically declined. Between the overly heavy use of sound affects, mostly when they aren’t needed, and the sometimes rather lackluster voice acting combined with repetitive stories, some of which seem eerily similar to older stories, posted in previous videos. It really is a shame as I enjoyed listening to these but now it’s sounds so cringey. So sad 😭
