As a female barista who closes regularly, this was terrifying to watch. The paranoia that someone may be outside in the dark is a regular fear of mine, even though I don’t close alone. It’s sad that this is a reality for so many women (and men) - that there’s always a nagging thought in our heads about whether someone could be outside ready to attack :(

Apparently there was a third ending Ranboo missed: you use the screwdriver to unscrew a vent to escape your house before the guy in the closet gets you. And then something happens to you in your car and he still gets you. No happy endings in this game!

What happened with the baby is that the mother was, most likely unknowingly, negligent and was walking her child in freezing temperatures without proper protection for a child that young. She kept pushing the stroller around even once the baby was gone, likely due to grief, shock, trauma, and other factors.

either the baby was killed/died for unknown reason (she was crying and sniffing) or the baby was abducted. considering it is a stalkerish/obsessed guy those are most likely the reasons and also from watching ALOT of theories-

The abductions were women, and the baby was unrelated, from what I gather from the game. I've watched multiple people play it, and I believe there is a conversation you can have with the lady where you tell her that she should return home because it's too cold for her baby, but she doesn't listen. I'm not a hundred percent sure, though, as it's been a bit. I love this game for the factors surrounding the situation our character finds themself in, such as listening to the conversations the other characters have while ordering and such, and I just found it another cool aspect of tragedy and horror this game displayed - showing a very real and easy loss of a child. The thought of it all revolving around the kidnapper makes it lose a certain realism factor. So, I guess it could be because of the kidnapper, but I find that a very lame answer, compared to the real tragedy that is loss to accidental negligence. (Also, it makes it kinda lame in the fact that it makes no sense, because if her baby had been kidnapped, she would have likely seen the kidnapper - and even if she hadn't - she would be at the police station or working harder to try and find her baby. The psychological aspect of the baby freezing makes the behavior more interesting imo and I just personally find it a better answer overall.)

Im surprised that this was made - I think it give men and others the "experience" of what people go through almost daily. While im glad so many enjoy this game, i keep thinking how it can be use for people to have empathy to victims of stalkers - and the fact that this is considered a horror game, when many face it day to day and sometimes worse, that shows me that people do understand the fear a stalker and watcher can have on a person. - All in all, while i would like for people who play this game to show the recognition to the people who do go through this, i did very much like the game as someone who enjoys horror and a fan of ranboo (thank you to the people who noticed that i used female only pronouns - other people are victims of stalking - so my bad)

as a teen girl who works closing shifts more often than not, its comforting to me that i always have at least three other people on the shift with me, one being my manager. however, i would be a liar if i said it never scared me whenever someone stood in the parking lot or sat in their cars outside for way too long. but also, the 911 comment about the phone in the locker was just really funny to me because it brings into perspective how violent America is. Japan, relatively (though it has its own crime rate) is far less dangerous than America and youre not nearly as likely to be a casualty from a robbery or something similar

@@averyaslaughter sorry im not the OP but I also work at Starbucks and honestly, after awhile it's just muscle memory. I could make an iced white mocha in my sleep and when you have good coworkers working there is the best. I personally am having a great time! It can get stressful but those people who go out of their way to tell us that we're doing a great job and they appreciate us + the regulars i love it is honestly so worth it. hope this helps!

Ayup! Starbucks Barista here- can confirm that some people do come in and: a) order drinks that are basically milkshakes/could be bought elsewhere for cheaper, b)enter in a group and nearly throw the order at you, and c)complain about prices and such that are out of the barista's control. Can also confirm that no matter how many months you work there- the idea of that oNE customer coming in and asking a question you have no idea how to answer, is the most ANXIETY INDUCING THING.
