This song was designed to be turned all the way up in order to truly immerse yourself in the experience. If you do turn it all the way up I think the mixing will be a bit more balanced and the vocals will be easier to hear. I have gotten a lot of complaints about the audio and it's valid but unfortunately I can't edit the audio of a video once that video is already up. But, I've already remixed the audio for when I release the song on streaming platforms. I imagine that the first half is Ranboo's parents helping him with this song, and the second half is dream using the song as a form of manipulation, taunting him with cruel words and ideas, all while singing it in that haunting tune which echos memories of his parents.

I don’t know why but to me this song feels like dream was singing to comfort Ranboo in the first half so probably before all the wars and fighting. While the second half is when dream is frustrated at the wars and has started cutting ties with loved ones “dream”. this dream has still come over to “comfort” Ranboo because he heard him crying but instead of comforting he falls into the new ways of thinking and starts to manipulate Ranboo through the lullaby that used to give Ranboo comfort.

actually no, i do have more to say. this is fucking _perfect._ it starts out so comforting, so soft and sweet, but at the end it gets so aggressive, so _abusive._ it took me a bit to figure out it was meant to be sung by dream, but when i did, _damn_ it felt SO much more sinister. it's not genuine love nor care, it's just an act a mask put on to control him and make him feel guilty for even questioning him. this song is.. so good.

I would love to hear a remaster of this like you did with Quackity’s song (Wrong Side of History). The vocals are so quiet on both Spotify and on KZbin that if I am listening to music while on a call with someone, the music will cut out very frequently. The song is very nice and you're voice is very pretty. I would love to hear it over the music. The notes played makes it sound a bit unsettling. But I enjoy it a great bit! :> The notes of your kalimba or xylophone is much too loud for me to want to turn it up any louder than it is. It would be nice to perhaps re-upload a version of the song that is comfortable to hear, especially since some parts are definitely louder than other parts too.

the song is good the lyrics are a bit confusing, but bad choice of an instrument as its louder than the vocals, this song is a lullaby and thus meant to be sung softly, and yet the instrument drowns out the vocals
