Your kids may not be the luckiest kids on earth, but they're real close to it. I was (unfortunately) born and raised in a big city in NJ but for as long as I can remember, I loved country music, horses, cattle, dogs and most all animals. and when I was 15 I had an opportunity to work on a dairy farm in North East Pennsylvania for the summer, (and I did so for the nest 3 years and spent one winter on that farm when I was 18 also.) It was the best time of my life, bar none ! I milked 6 cows by hand every morning and evening, learned to drive on a 1947 pick up truck that had a starter button on the floor next to the gas pedal. We made 10,000 bales of hay and stored them in the haymow of the barn. I did some plumbing, carpentry and concrete work and really had no time to get into trouble ! I loved every minute I spent on that farm and learned many things that served me well throughout my 79 years on this earth. In my humble opinion, there just is no better way to grow up then on a working farm or ranch. PS: I think your wife, Reggie & Reilly are the coolest, good luck and God bless you and your wonderful family ! I can help but get a big smile on my face every time I see Reggie, or for that matter Ret, they are too cute !

Anchor brand ranch is the best on KZbin. People may tell you junk tell like your not a good parent but actually your better than them. Those boys are becoming men like they should. Learning to be responsible in a way that fun. Not stuck to a computer or video game like mine were. They will grow to be real men and yep your also raising a wonderful daughter. Good for you both. Keep it up and forget the haters.

You are 100% accurate. Most kids today couldn't do 99% of what these kids do on a daily basis, rather they're too damn lazy to do so...if it don't involve their cell phone, tablet, or game console they simply can't do it.

@@wildbill23c that’s the way we grew up on the farm. We learned to work , fix broken equipment, make what we needed instead of buying it. Back in the 40s, 50s, 60s there was no money. Make it or do without.

The mountains and scenery in the back is beautiful... But effing hell it looks like a dry, dusty and hot as hell. Just like so many farms (ranches) here in Australia. It really does make you wonder, firstly where the hell the feed and water comes from. Then secondly and most importantly, it does make you wonder how/why on earth anyone would want to live out there. It definitely takes a certain kind of person to live that life, doesn't it? They have to love it, but they also have to be tough as old boots. Lol. This really does seem like a lovely, hard working family. Those kids are a credit to their parents. They should be very proud. Whilst I don't necessarily agree with some of the horsemanship practices I saw in some of their earlier videos, for the most part though, they seem to be doing a great job in that area as well. Plus their horses all seem to be well fed and well kept and in turn the horses seem to look after their young riders. You can't ask for much more than that, can ya?
@juliejenkins23762 жыл бұрын
BTW, I totally agree with others... Very handy horses and equally as handy kids! Well done y'all.

Those are some mean and wild cattle out there in the desert, be good to see the kids doing sports like their football, basketball and wrestling, to silence the critics about all work and no play. Especially the wrestling as it such a western tradition, should get a lot of views and subs. This is one cohesive family unit, rodeo is def in Ridge's future, such a little showman.
