RANCHI Sightseeing All Information | KOLKATA to RANCHI

We Couple Rider ERE Ride on Royal Enfield Himalayan Bike to explore the world and see the beauty of nature. This time we traveled to Ranchi, Jharkhand to experience the after-monsoon beauty of hills and waterfalls. We have covered over 450 KM in 13 hours and reached Ranchi City. This vlog is about the next day of reaching Ranchi. We stayed at HOTEL PRATAP GRAND. at morning 9:30 AM we started our sightseeing, the 1st place to visit was Jonha Falls, The Jonha Falls is a waterfall located in Ranchi district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. The best way to reach the waterfall is without using the 722 steps of stairs through Jonha Fall Resort Road. You can see beautiful natural scenes surrounded by forests, mountains, and Rivers. Situated at the edge of the Ranchi plateau, the Jonha Falls is an example of a hanging valley falls. The Gunga River hangs over its master stream, the Radu River, and forms the falls. One has to descend 722 steps to admire the surroundings. Water in the falls drops from a height of 43 meters (141 ft)
Next, we went to Sita Falls which is about 4 KM away from Jonha Falls. The Sita Falls is in the Radhu River which is a tributary of the Subarnarekha River. The falls drop from 43.90 meters (144.0 ft). Sita Falls is located in Ranchi district. It is 40 kilometers (25 mi) east of Ranchi on Ranchi-Purulia road or NH-32.
Next, we went to Hundru Falls which distance is 25 KM from Sita Falls. We have experienced some drastic off-roading and mesmerizing hill landscapes. On the course of the Subarnarekha River, it falls from a height of 98 meters (322 ft) creating one of the highest waterfalls in the state. The spectacular scene of the waterfall height has been described as a sight to behold. The different formations of rock due to the erosion by the constantly falling of water have added to the beauty of the place. We had our lunch with Chicken and rice there and left for the last spot.
We went to experience the zig-zag road of Patratu Valley.
Patratu has an average elevation of 405 metres (1328 feet) Patratu Dam was constructed under the planning of the greatest Indian engineer and father of Indian engineering, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. This dam is only 40 km away from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, from where it can be reached by road in less than an hour. It is directly connected to Ranchi, Patna, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Varanasi, Jammu, Jabalpur, Allahabad, Delhi and Kolkata by train.
