Rancid. What can I say? The louder you play their music the better it sounds. I'm blasting this on my 18 inch speaker at 9:00 in the morning. I'm 41 and I've been listening to Rancid since I was 16. Rancid never gets old.

Yeah, you have nothing to fall back on...But damn, Matt, you made it! You have plenty of money and security! I'm a 49 year old hardcore kid-pink rock-skinhead. I love this music and scene. I'm so happy and proud of RANCID! I've been with you guys since the Lookout Recs. 7"! I remember getting it when it came out in Ann Arbor, MI! I fucking loved it--and every album since! RANCID never sold out. "Let's Go" got me through my first detox/rehab--sick, hurting and suicidal due to heroin and alcohol withdrawal that went on for a fucking month--listening to that and CRANBERRIES "Everybody's Doing I" in my three-man room. I spent that month scrounging for change to go buy a rope & use it..."Let's Go!" gave me just a little hope, and slowly but surely I believed I could be happy--I didn't need dope and booze--I got some more hope, confidence, and faith. Listening to that CD almost nightly, sometimes bawling my eyes out for what I did to my family & friends, while not letting my two bunkies see this tough heroin addict crying! I've cried a lot since then, and unfortunately went to treatment twenty-three more times, jail, etc. Bottom line, there's just too much hardcore & punk that I need to discover or stagedive too, fanzines to be read, and life to be lived! (Well, these lyrics could be written by Aaron Cometbus, they're fucking epic & poetic!) I remember all that frivolous drama and shit-talking from the mid 90s, after "Radio" blew up, and then AOCTW (which is on my ten perfect, PERFECT albums! A few CLASH records and MISFITS/SAMHAIN, STRIFE "One Truth", LIFETIME "Background", DANZIG s/t, couple more...BUZZCOCKS "Singles Going Steady" (technically not an album, I guess) some other albums with longevity). Punk rock has intervened in my death of life, many times! You guys made a living and had a blast, an adventure really. Success couldn't have happened to a cooler group of guys!! God bless you and keep going!

How I love this song! Crazy how one band can have three such amazing vocalists, with such unique and different voices. This one was the first song where I heard Matt's voice, back when the album was released. I almost fell of my chair the moment he started singing :D Gotta love his basslines. And about that you can find tons and tons of comments on KZbin. But I wanna say: He should definitely sing more as well. Will now listen to "Rejected" next.
