Randomly I sing this in the shower today. I haven't thought about the song since I was in middle school. I was one of/maybe possibly the only black girl in my little suburban town that loved punk music. All my family were telling me I should like typical "black" music like hip-hop and R&B. I don't know if someone will ever read this, but this song means a personal history to me. See almost 2 years ago my parents told me just like that we were moving from NY to LA. In the summer of 2016 I tried to spend every day I could with my buddies, riding our bikes, hanging out, having fun every day, because I knew that it was going to be the last summer I was gonna see them. Back then, I was tired of listening to NoFX, Offspring or Ramones, so then I discovered Rancid. The whole "...And Out Comes the Wolves" album became the soundtrack of that summer. But this song...man, this song became my favorite. That moment when Tim is riding his bike, stops looking down while the rest of the band just keeps walking...man, It hits me hard.
