hey guys...there is no effect added...Chain is:ltd viper 400/emg 81-straight to amp-randall cab/v30-shure sm57 on centre of dustcap-internal preamp on neve mixpult-m-audio delta soundcard-cubase 5-t.c.electronic finalizer which added bit color and more life to overall mix...I used 2 DI signals into 4 tracks...each pair L/R with different settings on amps...2 tracks as main sound on full volume then the other pair used just for bringing some more mids and highs which cause that nice open airy guitar tone...Thanx for comments...

Hey, the design is an ultra solid Mike Fortin Design. Since Fortin signed with Randall, Randall over took major production and they on production China to make it more affordable. Quality control is overseen by Randall. Even then, the Fortin Design is one solid blueprint to mayhem and can be made almost any where. Hell, it could be made in North Korea and still sound fantastic so long as Randall is overseeing the quality and it's Fortin designed.

+terry lafauci I own a 6505+. My opinion of the amp is that the green crunch channel is good with a boost but lacks gain somehow. The lead channel has an unnecessary amount of gain and a scooped sound that, while good for certain tones, is impossible to dial out. Clean channel? What clean channel? I am personally thinking of selling mine for this amp. The best metal tone I have ever heard (after owning and selling over 15 different amps including, Marshall DSL, EVH 5150iii, and now a 6505+) is unquestionably a Mesa Rectifier. Well worth the investment. My triple rec has yet to be dethroned.

Off The Grid ok, thanks for the feedback man! My financial situation has changed so I'm actually considering a triple rec, ENGL savage or Powerball II. Ive never played on a tube amp for more than about 10 mins all together in my 14 years of playing and I'm looking for a big amp that sounds good at bedroom levels. I know that is far from practical but that's what my hear it set on.

This or a mesa dual rec for sure. Although the randall satan is pretty monstrous as well. All 3 of these make peavey amps sound like child's play.
