A difficult subject to put on screen. Its not just canonical and A to Z ... You have the harrowing of hell. The preaching to the old testament figures. The women arriving at the empty tomb after seeing the angel " why do you seek the living amongst the dead" ... Potentially the road to emmaus . Upper room appearance. The subsequent anguish of Peter... The doubting of Thomas. The ascension itself. Potentially a confrontation between the Devil and Christ. Flashbacks to the fall of the Angels. Who knows??

He said this same story a month earlier. I don’t think this movie will get made, and If so would be 2028 - 2029. If they wait any longer, even with cgi people will look older and if cgi on face isn’t done right it will be an eye sore and take away from the movie. And anything can happen and Jim or Mel could pass away and then there will be no movie. It’s gonna be a mash up of biblical accuracy and story even from acts, as well Mel wants to throw in other realms, Angles fallin to hell etc. And will be either 2 movies or 3. Part 1, part 2, maybe part 3. But again. They have been stuck on the same thing forever with the writing. I know it must be done right, but I mean if you want something to happen you make time. Idk. I just real want the movie made and I lose hope every time they talk about it.

The Resurrection needs to be Accurate in Every way. as Gibson said It Should be like Everyone Sitting in theater should relate to Film and Should be able to Understand what the Resurrection is. Such Things Take Times. But is Worthy. Mel Gibson does not Focus more on Cgi or Vfx. but On the Story for Mel it's not Difficult to do hard Cgi or vfx Through Money as he did in Passion. Now the Script is in the Hand of Mel Gibson and he is currently working on it. Randall wallce is busy in writing other scripts. Hope Mel Gibson if Interviewed will tell something About it.

​​@@Itsmy2cent it's Already Written but Mel and Randall keeps it Giving Touch and Finishing. The Reason Behind doing This is Because they don't want to Make Something that only Christians would Understand. It is Really Hard to Tell a Story with a complex Plots. The Resurrection Film will not have a Linear Story There are some things that Gibson finds it difficult like other realms spirituality where people can make fun of it. also It's hard if whether he gets same Support from All the Christians without any discrimination in denomination. Also various factors such as Casting and all Takes a Lot of Time.
