You really nailed it Cheley. I wrote about 30 songs with Randall Clay, and I still can't believe he's gone. The things we take for granted, like the idea that our friends will always be here. I talk to you Randall, and to CJ Watson and to Nolan Neal (all 3 of you kinda like we're sitting in a group songwriter round) when I'm all by myself sometimes... I really hope you guys can hear me. I love you all..

Cheley Tackett thank you!! I never met the man but he inspired me from afar and I never found a way to reach out to him until he was gone. Writing a song about him was my way of saying “thanks for everything!”
