Fun Fact about the Pizza Delivery Man hugged by the little girl: his daughter had had passed recently, and he was stressed and overwhelmed with hospital bills and the loss of his best friend. When my mom had breast cancer and her hair started falling out from chemotherapy, she got very upset about it. One afternoon I was trying to comfort her with "It's okay, it's just hair." An hour later, I was brushing my own long, pretty hair, and I suddenly felt like a jerk. So I went straight to the closest walk-in salon, got in the chair, and said I wanted to buzz it all off. The stylist looked dubious, but when I told her why she grinned from ear to ear and fired up the clippers. Turned out, she herself was a breast cancer survivor, which made the experience that much more special. Then I was able to go back to Mom's house, look her in the eye, and reiterate "Now, see? It's. Just. Hair." :)
