he is most likely a livestock guard dog and they crop the ears to keep them from being torn up if the dog is going against a wild preditor. that would be why he would be standoffish and dirty looking. the gate behind him also hints as livestock guard dog.

So many touching moments. The young man who took time to sit and eat with the homeless gentleman that obviously enjoyed and needed the company. But what struck me the most (and had me crying the hardest) is that kids do not see color or disability. They just see other kids. I wish we could all be like that. It doesn’t cost a dime to be kind! Prayers to everyone! 🙏🏻❤️🤗 And a hug!
