Dr Tahseen has hit the nail on the head. As with most industries or businesses in our country with no proper direction or even if i may say wrong direction, goat farming is no exception. He is absolutely right in saying that people are focusing their time & resources on the wrong characteristics of the goat instead of ones which lead to successful business i.e. meat production & not a beauty contest. Keep the good work up, welldone.

I'm thinking about starting a goat farm in Bhakkar with around 200 goats on 10-15 acres. Can you advise if I should go for it? I don't have any prior experience with goats or livestock, but I'm willing to invest extra to make it less risky, if that's even possible. Also, I don't mind waiting for 2-3 years to get profits.
