This is going to make me look so, so dumb but here it goes: Does swinging a pan actually increase chance of drop? Like it detects weapons being used in area below so it releases knowing players are in area or is it just a big fat meme? I’ve only been playing PUBG for about a month so take it easy on me lads. Just so we are on the same page here, I am almost positive it has no effect, I just have that teeny tiny sliver doubt like maybeeee it does do something to the AI or something 🤷‍♂️

It’s purely a superstition thing, but it’s just funny to do.

There's a secret stat tied to the pan, it increases your chance to find dank loot by 8%, plus its been known to save your ass when being shot at. Swing the pan puts a 1.5x modifier to your loot luck stat which will increase the likihood of how close the crate will drop to you. Swinging the pan when you enter a new building typically ends up with you discovering an orb of doom, also known as a grenade. Which is, believe it or not, the most powerful item in the game. Happy looting bud, dont forget to swing that pan everywhere you go.
