Actual MIDZYs love Lia and support her fully. ITZY just isn't the same without her delicate, soulful, angelic voice to balance out the other members' voices and often make their songs special. Her joyous attitude and kind, thoughtful personality is dearly missed too. I hope she recovers asap and rejoins ITZY either during or after their 2nd world tour. In the meantime, I've been listening to her solo track Blossom, her OST songs, covers, and collabs a lot. Her dancing might not be top tier like others in ITZY but she's still a very good dancer and is able to perform ITZY's incredibly difficult and physically taxing dance routines well. Lia adds grace, elegance, and happiness to ITZY's performances. Very sad to see her (and Chaeryeong) get bullied by haters for years.

Along with the "MIDZYs" who are saying the group is better without Lia, can we talk about the solos who act as if the group will flop without her? The amount of Lia solos who discredited the other members (particularly Chaeryeong as she's gotten high notes on the new album) or said they were moving on to other groups because she wasn't there is ridiculous.

Honestly, even if her recovery is taking time. It won't stop me to support ITZY. And ITZY is doing fine in this comeback, they recently got the first win with "Untouchable". I always see the members mentioning Lia during year-end awards shows during the acceptance speech of a reward. For now, we should focus on streaming the album. Lia will comeback to the group once she feels ready.

honestly , gg stans are kinda off putting , not all but some of them . Real. You know, when I first got into kpop, I hate Army even though I'm army myself because the toxicity. Same with exol, once, blink. But damn, these new gen of gg fandom be the most annoying and toxic af. Most of them love to twist words and hate men so much. They act like all the girls are victims and men are all evil. Like recently, the controversy about Heechul criticising general Idol beauty standard, then those gg fans be evil editing making him say the girl he talks to fat. Like? Most of the time, a toxic fan just be defending their own fav then attack the group their fandom has a war with but those new gg fans be attacking random idols and try to make people cancel them.

some of my reactions! :) 5:24 i definitely agree but under a certain exception. for example, my favs are nmixx. i can understand if you dont like nmixx, their songs, especially their mixxpop work, is not for everyone. i don’t mind if its not your thing, i might be surprised, but not mad. but if you go and say shit like “they dont deserve a career”, “the shouldnt have debuted”, “they’re untalented”, and other hateful shit, obviously im going to defend my favs. 3:08 YES YES YES YES. I cant emphasize how much i agree with this statement. and its not just idols either, blinks will hate anyone. i dont know if anyone here knows twoset, but if u dont, they’re a really talented duo of violinists who make content with the hopes of educating people on classical music, but in a fun way. anyways, in like summer 2022, they made a disstrack in the same melody and style of shutdown, which, in hindsight, was clearly a joke. if u know classical music, you know that shutdown sampled la Campanella by paganini. so essientially eddy, acting as paganini, made a disstrack about blackpink for using la campanella. it was very clearly a joke and was emphasized in the end with brett, acting as mozart, saying “you know that songs not about you, right?”. anyways, blinks took it PERSONALLLYYYYY and started dragging them to hell and called them ugly, was blatantly racist (cause how tf are you gonna be racist to asians but then like kpop? the double standards and just overall contradictory is WILD), botted and/or spammed their comment sections, and it was disgusting. definitely a time i do not want to go back to as a twosetter

I do think ITZY is better without Lia but that doesn't mean she deserves hate. Lia is such a talented idol but the rest of the ITZY members are naturally gifted dancers and she isn't plus while her voice is lovely she just doesn't fit what you would expect a lead/main vocalist to be. Considering she is the weakest dancer like a lot of fans I expect her to have a powerful voice or expansive range to carry the songs but she doesn't. Listening to ITZY's songs her voice compliments the other members' well though BUT then you watch a live performance. Anytime there is a shot of all 5 members in the same frame, Lia is the weak link.
