I think hex: blood favour should block pallets until the totem is broken, that could make it worthy of being a hex perk along the lines of devour

@@Jack.Martson that's interesting but I think the issue is, it simply doesn't last long enough to be useful, the time, if anything it just helps survivors not accidentally drop pallets after being hit, I genuinely think to be useful it needs to block them basically permanently, which fits the hex aspect, pallets get blocked more and more with each hit until the totem is broken, you could also give it an extended range based on hooks but I think the important part is the time of it

I'm pretty sure they made Blood Favor a hex perk because of Blight's Undying. The goal was so that the base Blight's perks will have some synergy (for Undying to protect another hex perk and for the adept challenge). In addition, giving a killer two powerful perks are, like, not in their design guidelines.

I have gotten blood favour value on trapper before, but it takes some pretty big brain planning. If you run blood favour with iridescent stone, and adopt a strategy to “block off all available routes for the survivor”. The theory is that whenever you hit a survivor, they usually have 3 options: use the nearby window, use the nearby pallet, or run away to the next tile. Using respawning traps to hard block off vaults and some pallets, IN THEORY you could cut off all three of the survivors options all at once, and be able to catch up to the survivor easily for a second hit. Obviously STBFL still needs to be run with blood favour, but STBFL isn’t that bad on trapper anyway, but other than that, try changing your strategy when using blood favor

NOED and Rancor together on Spirit is my guilty pleasure. I like to call my Spirit build "Instadown Rin knows where you live." No slowdown, just instadowns and tracking. Also, I feel like the only reason Blood Favor is a hex is because they wanted Blight to have another hex perk for Undying to work with when people try for Adept Blight.

About the Rancor discussion: I know it has the kill potential at the end, but isn't better to use Bitter Murmur if you want tracking after a gen is done?

Yes it is but Rancor has no range when a gen is complete and shows all the survivor pings while Bitter Murmur doesn’t give you the aura if you’re 16 meter close to the complete gen but Rancor need a buff bc it shows the pings for only 3 seconds it goes away way to fast

i'm pretty sure the gens are considered completed when you kick hatch and start the endgame collapse. pretty sure rancor works the same way noed does in that situations.

Bloodfavour would be useful if only activated on a downed survivor, and the pallets stay blocked until you hook them or they are picked up. That would make it a good perk to get around DS, as you can slug them and survivors would risk going into a deadzone to try and pick their team mate up.

The problem with making Blood Favor not a Hex perk is then Blight would have Hex Undying and no Hex perks. It's a better option to buff it to the point where it's good or change its effect, I feel. Also if Tofu loves doing random wheel builds then good because I love watching them. Sometimes it sucks when he basically has no perks because there's no synergy but man it's just an excuse to hear Tofu talk.

Maybe to improve Blood Favor they should keep the 16 meter pallet block (maybe up it a wee bit) but also any pallets in the area the survivor you hit runs to also get blocked in a radius around them for 5-10 seconds, so when that claudette ran to the one just outside the 16 meters she wouldn't be able to use it either because the affect followed her and would need to find a window. You feel me? Idk, let me know what you guys think.

Blight should really be on the wheel. Maybe you could use some other generic randomiser to pick Killers? You could also just have all the perks numbered and pick random numbers. Also, I think it'd be really interesting to remove picked Killers/Perks for more variety
