If it's leagalized like this the rich will just take advantage to get a monopoly market. On my opinion certain places should have weed tolerance. For example nagarkot can have bars and dispensary where a person can purchase showing his citizenship and the seller can put the purchasers name and quantity in national database. If a person or a vendor is found to be misusing the law then their license should be revoked. If so the vendors will keep making stable money and with the fear of license being revoked they will stay in legal lane too the farmers will produce better quality and nagarkots tourism will boom line never before. Rural areas can particularly benifit from this.

What I hate so much about weed is how it creeps up on people. There is no real hangover with the drug so you dont get your immediate feedback. The haze of complacency is what makes it so terrible, it causes you to make bad decisions and helps you avoid problems which leads them to pile up over time. It is such a procastinator drug, you get nothing really productive done while on it or at best you halfass those things, some chore is always postponed and this leads to an overall deterioration

That's why we call it recreational drug. It is not vitamins or some limitless type drug that would magically enhance your productivity. I occasionally use weed, like once in a 3 months when i am free. I don't do it at study time or when i have to work. But when i do, it's the time when i am bored af. It's not addictive either. You can have fun without drugs too but weed is probably the best and safest catalyst to enhance the moment(fun).

Hmm I didn't hear you guys discuss the difference between legalizing and decriminalizing marijuana. Marijuana is still included as Schedule I in US and all schedule I meds by definition "have no currently accepted medical use in the United States, a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision, and a high potential for abuse." Of course various THC derivatives fall under other schedules or aren't even considered scheduled substance at all and can be prescribed/or purchased over the counter, accordingly, without too much consideration. Physicians don't write the usual prescriptions for marijuana (they can just recommend it and some states require you to register for a medical marijuana card) and they aren't filled in regular pharmacies (bought from dispensaries). DEA controls physicians' ability to prescribe scheduled substances and DEA also doesn't allow anyone to prescribe schedule I substances. Some states have tried to loosen this federal law and have supposedly "legalized" marijuana but obviously, physicians, pharmacists and pharmacies have to follow the most stringent law if they don't want their licenses/permits revoked. :P If you enter any federal property within your state, you may still face issues even if your state has legalized or decriminalized marijuana.. just depending on whether people feel like enforcing laws that day :P Congress has seriously limited budgets for marijuana law enforcement so most users aren't too concerned on a day to day basis. So don't worry US laws also still question the medical utility of marijuana and Americans are used to encountering conflicting regulations regarding marijuana consumption. Let's see if Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act gets passed.

Exactly thank u for the information. I don't know why they want to copy others specially foreign country, without doing a research or knowing the effects of it. Need to research if it's benifiting or not before u talk about a topic so seriously. They think it's easy to control Drug if they get legallised. LoL. Make a country strong with better ideas then to legalise marijuana for medical purpose under prescription can be thought bout after., people think they smart n know everything. Marijuana is a class B drug for a reason.,

@@zudinz55 My pleasure! :) I was just a bit amused when I heard a lot of assumptions about marijuana regulation in US. Physicians are able to recommend (not prescribe) marijuana just because federal courts have deemed it their first amendment right/freedom of speech :P That's the (il)legality of it.. now the clinical utility is another thing. There has been more and more data and support for use of CBD component of marijuana, which doesn't cause the same "high" as THC component does. There are claims that CBD and even THC might be safer in patients who require long term treatments for chronic conditions (like seizures, chronic pain, anxiety, nausea, migraines, and so on). Epidiolex was recently approved as a schedule V med for some seizures. But when meds are naturally derived, there's always going to be concerns of batch to batch purity/ homogeneity. I agree with you that research is lacking. Not much is known about drug-drug interactions either. Some studies have shown that THC crosses placenta and can be present in breast milk, can cause falls in elderly and so on. On the other hand, some studies have discussed potentially utilizing CBD to reduce use of opioids or benzodiazepines, which carry massive abuse potential too. A lot of people are hesitant to explore the potential medical benefits of marijuana or it's various components because some people see it as an opportunity to promote it's recreational use. There's just so much to talk about.

@@nikitk9792 thank u again for the knowledge, u know quite a lot, r u a medical student?? People won't bother to read ur knowledge comment n only want to leave a message which does not make sense, the PODCAST HOST should at least read this as a research before doing podcast without any knowledge., n it's not like seeking sweets., keep the passport n give marijuana, to limit the quantity. LoL. It's so difficult to control with it being illegal. Imagine how difficult it will be when it's legal n many people as access to it., it's a recipe for disaster to legalise it specifically to a country who has such a poor law n order., fix the basic law n order first to be able to handle Weed legislation.,, LOL 😂🤣😱. Who will be responsible for the damage of life if it goes out of control.,, it will be worse then alchole if it's legalised.,, we in alcohol n cigarette bad though it's legal. Same with weed just little bit worse., as STUDENTS N TEACHER WILL SMOKE WEED N GO TO COLLEGE AS ITS LEGAL.,

@@zudinz55 You are so right! Most people aren’t going to stop and read a block of text :P Even when we educate patients, we prioritize and mention the most pertinent/important things at a 4th-5th grade reading level so that they can at least understand and remember those things. Content creators have realized that the more they sensationalize and simplify a topic, the broader their reach and exposure is (regardless of whether it does justice to the topic at hand). Likewise, critical comments these days are not always constructive and apparently/potentially induce sleep paralysis in some KZbinrs? (referring to another clip from this channel). So it seems like they are trying their best to gain exposure while ignoring criticism that doesn’t limit their views :P I absolutely agree with you that additional legislations would be required and a reliable and efficient executive branch would be necessary to execute those laws. Marijuana can have additive effects when used with other sedatives (like alcohol) so the cumulative effects would need to be considered when laws are created. Driving under influence would be a huge concern too. Oh gosh and the social issues too! I doubt schools/universities would permit its recreational use even if it’s legalized, just like how they don’t allow alcohol.

As an MD(anesthesiologist), i work with narcotics. Role of marijuana for medical purposes like glaucoma, chronic pain, refractory epilepsies are not sufficiently proven. Modern medicine is not likely to strongly endorse CBD any time soon. So i believe growing/consuming marijuana for 'medical purposes' is over-hyped with little/unproven benefits. On the other hand, I have used recreational marijuana in my younger, responsibility free days, and I do not believe it is hugely dangerous (it is safer than alcohol or cigarettes, unless you are prone to psychosis or panic attacks). I do not support overall legalising a psychotropic drug for recreational use obviously. But recreational use of marijuana could be legalised in certain tourist areas (Lakeside/Thamel/Mustang/Everest etc) provided you aren't driving or on a job.

Lot of artists and general public have misconception about marijuana. First of all it’s a drug and it can have many bad effects in a persons health who consumes it and also it affects the people around him and his family. For example he was driving with marijuana, he could have been the reason for any accidents and death of innocent people in the road if something happened. Legalising marijuana means, taking very small dose that doesn’t cause it’s euphoric effect and should be prescribed by doctors only for pain relief. For example cough syrups, can be addictive if taken consumed overdose. People need to understand the concept of legalising it before they come to the media and talking about it and misleading the youngsters..

marijuana is not drug its natural straight outta earth no one dies from overdose of it. Alcohol have more bad effects as comparing to marijuana. People have so many missconception about weed while they are okay with alcohol and ciggeretes which are more harmful then weed and abusing of any anything leads to misery.
