I love Stars and Stripes. You open a box and, more often than not, you get a bunch of autos of guys you've never heard of. But then you put it away somewhere for a year or two and suddenly those guys you didn't know turn out to be hot rookies and prospects. I got Anthony Volpe, Robert Hassell and Spencer Torkelson and all were/are pretty hot in the hobby.

Hey Jabs, I was at the Columbus Clippers (Guardians AAA team) game this Tuesday. They were playing Indianapolis (Pirates AAA team). Canaan Smith-Ngiba hit a home run completely out of the stadium. It was pretty impressive.

I wonder if eventually collectors will catch on to the fact Gold Foils are better than the Gold cards in Topps flagship. There are 2,023 of each gold and somewhere around 700-800 gold foils. But for whatever reason, Golds sell for more.

I'm loving the new Topps Heritage. It's cool seeing paper with greenbacks these days. I feel you 100% on Daylight Saving time. In 2022, the US Senate, led by Marco Rubio (R) FL & others in a bi-partisan bill created the "Sunshine Protection Act" and it passed in the Senate (I think it passed BIG), however, it did not make it through the House of Reps. I love that extra hour of sleep in the Autumn, but that loss of an hour before Easter is a drag. If I was in the House, I would have voted YES lol. On the bright side, you can use this example during a class as a way to show that both parties of the political aisle can indeed work together. (then again, it never went through, so maybe not hahaaha) Fun Vid tho!

Is it true that you got rid of your dog because he/she was making noise during your videos?

Nope. I that’s a rumor that someone made up and people ran with. I rehomed him because after I got divorced he was home by himself for long chunks of hours. It wasn’t fair to him. I had him assessed to be a police dog by the state police but he didn’t pass. I worked with a professional to find him the best home. I still see him every now and again in the yard of his new house.
