One of my friends from uni is from Ashby-de-la-Zouch! I’ve visited her there and it’s a really lovely town, but it’s always slightly embarrassing for her when someone asks where she’s from and she has to say it! For some reason it’s quite prominent on loads of maps, so whenever I’m travelling anywhere I see it on the sat nav

Originally from 20 minutes away, a place called Coalville, went to school in Ashby and visited Leicester every single weekend for shopping trips! The Space Centre is a right of passage when you are in primary school 😂 but never been to the actual museums honestly 😂
