Hallo Sir. They carry old steel sleepers and new concrete ones. They can be found often on the Caledon branch since they are replacing the steel sleepers with concrete ones these days. Hope it helps.

Hi Reese, Your many excellent videos of the Transnet operations at Caledon have inspired me to try to model the freight yards and part of the SAM grain silos in HO scale. Do you have any photos or video of the Hunslet shunter in the SAM yard? Cheers, Mike.

Hallo Sir. Not really, but I can go take a look for you this week. Will definitely go railfanning some diesels even by tomorrow. The only problem is, that I only saw the Hunslet (Blou Vinkie) once in operation, but I can hear it's little horn late at night, and, the only way I managed to get in there was via Transnet, which is (mostly) inactive here (Caledon) at night. SAM doesn't allow anyone (trainspotters) in the yard...but Transnet would, and their property, which is the rails, are there. But I'll see what I can do. Kind Regards, Reese.
