@@sheisbookedandbusy I am looking forward to The Maid by Nita Prose, Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell. I also just started a fantasy romance called Flame and Sparrow by S.M. Gaither. I’m not sure about it yet, so we shall see. I like to dip into lots of different genres. I notice you do too. I’m so curious about The Secret Book of Flora Lee and all of the fantasy books you are reading this month. Looking forward to the monthly wrap up. 🙂

More library-ish setting books that I can think of is Ink Blood Sister Scribe and The Library At Mount Char if you haven't read them yet. I haven't read either though so I can't rec them or not.

I introduced two new concepts for me last year to prevent a tessa bailey situation lol: first a "last chance author" tag - which usually means the book I've read from the author was a 2.5 star or lower, and when they continue to disappoint more than that, I move them to "author I'm divorcing" to remind myself to give up on them.

What a great idea! Tessa Bailey just keeps sucking me back in - I think it's because her covers are always so cute! But if this one doesn't do it for me, I might just have to accept that she's not going to be my style...👩🏻‍💻

@@sheisbookedandbusy yeah honestly cute covers are the best and also the worst thing (if the book is not good)! I'm definitely also a cover girlie, so they get me every damn time haha. It definitely sucks twice as bad when you already own said books, and then realise the author is just not doing it for you. Fingers crossed though this one works out better

Hope you feel better soon, just watch your breathing, I ended up in the hospital during Christmas week , cause I couldn't breath. I ended up having RSV virus. Even though you are younger than me, and probably can't get that virus. But who knows what you can catch these days. Just be careful. OH NO! I hope you're feeling better! Last year I actually got a bad respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia & a lung infection, so I'm definitely being paranoid about my breathing! I've been making sure I stay pretty much completely elevated when I sleep for that exact reason - thank you so much for taking care of me! I'm happy to report that I'm well on the mend & feeling much better! 💕 I'm so glad you like these videos because I'm in LOVE with filming them!

I have heard great things about The Book That Wouldn't Burn, I have been wanting to read the Truly Devious series, I have been debating about checking out The Last Tale of the Flower Bride, and The Daughter of the Pirate King sounds interesting. My February tbr is Pages and Co, Keeper of the Lost Cities #3, finishing Magnolia Parks from last month and A Court of Wings and Ruin. Magnolia Parks is most likely going to be a 3 star for me only because I think I would like it more if it started at the beginning of the drama versus just talked about. Slowly continuing The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, Nevermoor, Throne of Glass, The Red Scrolls of Magic, City of Fallen Angels, and Xoxo. My tbr is most likely going to be all over the place because I am going to be using my tbr jar throughout the month to pick which book to read so the books that could be pick could be picked can be on tbr list or not. So far I have one extra book pick which is XOXO. I got Magnolia Parks for my first book pick which works considering I need to finish it. Hope you feel better and have a great reading month!

I'm so excited to get into Bookshops & Bonedust - Legends & Lattes was definitely not my FAVORITE book ever, but it was adorable & so relaxing to read! Very cozy! I'm feeling much better, thank you! 💕 OMG what an excellent question! Hm, ok so here's my multifaceted answer to your question because I believe in tropes & genre rankings 😂 I personally don't think that Tricia Levenseller gets enough "hype" with her fantasy romances. I really enjoyed The Shadows Between Us & wonder why I don't ever hear more people talking about it! I also very much enjoyed Scandalized by Ivy Owens, which is actually Lauren Billings (aka the Lauren in Christina Lauren's) pen name. I definitely think that book is underrated. Another fantasy romance but I don't often see Scarlett St Clair get much attention & I loved King of Battle & Blood! What books would you add to my under-hyped list?!?! I'm ALWAYS looking for less talked about authors to add to my lists!!! 💌

I liked Fix Her Up (4 stars) and I haven’t read any other books by Bailey but I think from what I’ve heard from others about her other books, you’ll like it but it’s not gonna be a new favorite. Just my thoughts.

Great question! What you can't see in the videos is that on the other side of my guest room there are two bookshelves that are my "already read" shelves. That's where I organize all of my read books. If I realllllly didn't care for the book or feel as though I would recommend it, I donate them to free little libraries around my town. If the book was something I would recommend, it goes on my shelf for my friends & family to "shop" from when they come over to visit! I absolutely LOVE having my shelves being borrowed from! 💕
