You completely missed the best things at Watsons Bay. The Lighthouse you saw was not the famous one! You should have walked straight ahead from the ferry through the park up to the cliffs for a spectacular view and then turned right for a walk up to the famous lighthouse. I think you should ask the locals who are happy to show you the way.

I'm Aussie and live in Lancelin. I've been everywhere you have documented and i must say: i have thoroughly enjoyed seeing my country so well-observed from a foreign perspective. Thankyou

I backpacked in Europe in my younger day and loved being able to randomly choose to do something in some foreign country that I had never done before. Your video brought back some memories, lol - thanks!

8:15 Unfortunately we have deer. They were introduced in the 1800's, I think there are some round the Insular, but mostly you'll find them in the Royal National Park at the southern end of Sydney .. the correct end 😃

I found my secret to Sydney (Southern side of the bridge) is to try to locate which side of George street you would be on.. George Street goes from all the way out, right into the centre of the CBD.. if you can keep in mind what side you were/are on, you will have a better idea which way to go. Kangaroos/wallabies eat grass.. you would have been better to offer some juicy grass..

The best way to eat Vegemite is to have it with a slice of cheese on toast - it's delicious. Also, try Vegemite Shapes (biscuits) - they're yummy 😊

Theres no poisonous jelly fish in Sydney to worry about its far north Queensland that has those. Blue bottle jelly fish do have stingers on their long tentacle and those things sting pretty bad but not life threatening.

Winter in Australia is pretty short, it usually warms up for a little bit in July but then the nights get cold again in September. February is the hottest month of the year, but it will usually be hot from December on through the summer and autumn.

Depends a lot on which part of Aus you're in though. Melbourne, Hobart and Canberra have very different winters than Sydney, and inland locations like Alice Springs definitely have much colder winter mornings. Brisbane and further north don't really get cool at all.

The flies will disappear according to the wind, the westerly’s blow them out of the bush, a strong southerly, cooler, will blow them away generally

I'm from West Oz and I agree with your friend from Denmark, Vegemite can get in the bin.

Girl you need to learn the metric system hahah. Kinda essential in Australia and so much better than the Imperial system you use in America.

most aussie made chocolate is made with real sugar as we have a large sugar cane industry, where as in murica most things are sweetened with corn starch. hence the diff taste.
