The Prize Cars in Gran Turismo 2 Project A-Spec [Version 1.1]

All of the new prize cars added in GT2 Project A-Spec on top of the vanilla game's prize cars, plus some of the regular game prize cars altered. I didn't go over every prize car in GT2 in-general since there's at least 2 other videos that did that already.
Now to explain this mod, Project A-Spec is a HUGE expansion mod of Gran Turismo 2 for the PS1 where new cars & events are added. Plus some other changes made to the game.

Random Notes (will probably edit a lot of these): - If you didn't read what I said at the start, I didn't cover existing prize cars from the base game. Mainly because MMRivit and Mattj155 already made videos about how to get every prize car in GT2 already and I thought it would be redundant if I did the same thing. - The only base-game prize cars I covered like the Escort Rally Car for instance were ones that got altered or became a prize car for another event in this mod. A few prize cars were moved around. - If one regular GT2 prize car isn't mentioned, that just means it's still the same it was in the normal game. - If a Project A-Spec car wasn't mentioned, it's likely a car you can buy in the dealership. - This video took waaayyy longer than I wanted it to take, part of the reason was I was spending extra time in the rally events and endurance events trying to look for the 1997 Impreza Rally Car since I couldn't seem to win it in the Grand Valley Endurance. It turns out that they may have accidently taken it out of the prize car pool, so now you can only access that Impreza via cheat codes. Whoops!

Unfortunately, the file format for tracks haven't been explored and understood (and by extension, so is adding new tracks), so it'll be a very long while nefore SSR11 gets added to GT2.

I just wish someone would make a version of GT2 where you could choose the car you wanted on the track you wanted with the option of 3 or 5 laps...😔😔 Something similar to GT4's arcade mode,It wouldn't be a problem if it was just racing cars and versions modified for racing.

car jokes/comments aside i really wish i knew half the programming skill you guys and other people that messes with the other GT games (like 4) do, not necessarily to the point of a reverse engineering, but to do some cool programs/balancing mods for GT3/4, or even an event maker, yknow? also wish i had a better PC to record both GT and Forza (latter one through a capture card, as i own Motorsport 1 through 4 and i have some ideas)

@@davidslogoarchive5116 Not _strictly_ true. Old version saves will stil load but all the garage cars will have wacked stats and will crash the game when trying to start an event with any of them. So you will have to sell every single car and start again. But you can at least have a metric shit-ton of cash to re-buy them and you can at least keep your event progress! This is at least the case playing on my PS3.

It's the regular game's hp, the A-Spec modding team just never changed it. The same with the Lancer Evo VI Rally Car if you looked.

@@sosafire4152 I mean, they're probably working on it now. It's been a while since version 1.1 was released now. Also not quite, an Escort Cosworth could probably get 460 hp pretty easily with modifications.The same with a Lancer Evo VI.
