See part 1 of this theory before watching this one! Massimo and Alberto have become very close. Close enough to each other that Alberto now sees Massimo as a father but I have reason to believe that they knew each other way before. The only issue is the missing arm… how do I explain that one? OML ( Spoilers for Luca and encanto) What if Maximo is 💅🏼Gay and he’s together with Bruno and. 😳 they had Alberto that’s where Bruno was when he left then he possibly came back to the casita but since Maximo lives near the sea for all his life Albertos gift is being a sea monster so when Alberto says his dad left him when he was little he means Bruno and the reason Bruno left is because Maximo was abusing him then told Bruno he had a wife (who he later divorced) Maximo was always saying silence Bruno that’s where Alberto got it from. Maximo and Alberto used to have a really strong bond but after Bruno left Maximo started sending Bruno to that tower and hunted sea monsters because all of them gave him memories of Bruno and he knew his son was a sea monster but he never hurt him because he loves Alberto. And That’s why when Miri bell asks Bruno why he actually never left the casita he’s so awkward around it and Bruno was going to tell his family about it that’s why he says There’s a lot to say about Bruno! Theory:Maybe since he had Alberto he hid him from his wife and the other woman thought it was his problem.When his wife didn’t know about the child he would go and visit him.When his wife found out she divorced him and Massimo thought it was Albertos fault and that’s why he left him and was not excepting him at the first part of when Alberto and Luca went to there house.Hope you like my theory correct me with any ideas and or facts.

Alberto's father is not Massimo. It is made clear that his father is a deadbeat coward who abandoned him. His father was also not human. Nor was his mother. It is a far stretch to think the two species could interbreed. As for the arm, Massimo was born with only one arm. "That is how I came into the world." Massimo is not a mysterious man. He is a simple one in the most wholesome sense. His wife and he wanted different things in life, and separated to preserve their friendship and are both amazing parents to Giulia. He not only would not be unfaithful to his then wife (Maria?), I doubt he is interested in taking up with anyone else. I personally don't want the story to try to get involved with Alberto's parents. Likely his mom was lost when he was very young and Bruno abandoned him when he was around 10 or 11. Alberto's parent is Massimo. His sister is Giulia. His soul mate is Luca. That's where the story should go.

Don’t you think Alberto would have remembered Massimo when he saw him if he truly was his father?.Alberto’s real father probably met a human woman,fell in love and maybe started another family but couldn’t reveal his true identity to his family. He would probably visit Alberto every now and then till he finally couldn’t and just stopped altogether when he saw that Alberto could manage to be on his own.

There’s a book that I read I forgot the title but it was based on a true story but this kid haven’t seen his dad in years and they both thought the other was dead and when the kid years later after they got separated found out his dad was alive and now sick in a hospital so he went to visit him and when he did he couldn’t recognize his dad at all and the dad even said “no you can’t possibly be my son” or something like that so it’s possible they both didn’t recognize each other

I talk about this in the first video I did on Luca but basically I think that just comes down to the way they design characters. If they would have kept the same design, Alberto would look too much like Luca. Since the two characters have contrasting personalities, they want them to look as different as possible from each other.

Another THING that could’ve happened was that that statue with a man a silly duck killing Seamonster what is oh the man and we don’t know where this kind of taken place or if he died or not but this Man it definitely was important to the town and that was because he probably died or he was a hero and definitely important to them so that could be why he was a statue made or in front of the town but of course the person who owns the best but I don’t remember her name Vito I don’t know but she definitely didn’t care about it or maybe it could’ve been their parents because it is a real resemblance or anything

Everyone, listen up please. I just came up with a theory no one else has come up with about massimos arm. I think I know what happened to it. I’ve been thinking lately an looking for clues. Digging deep into stuff evolving around Albert trying to learn more about his past so I can piece together the dots, and find out if his father is Bruno, or massimo. And to do this, I looked into their last names. Naturally, their last names would reflect them somehow. Lucas last name is paguro which means “hermit crab” 🦀 which is a metaphor of him coming out of his shell. Albertos last name is “scorfano” which translates to scorpion 🦂 fish 🐟. So naturally, I did a little bit of research 🧐 and apparently scorpion fishes are very dangerous. They can sting you, and cause severe damage. In la Luna massimo has 2 arms, now he has 1. I don’t think that’s how he “came into the world”. My theory: massimo got stung in the arm by a scorpion fish. It could’ve been a scorpion related fish who is his mother, which is most likely because albertos last name is scorfano. And the sting was so bad, he had to stop it before it got to the rest of his body. There was no other way. He had to kiss his arm goodbye, and get it taken off. Cuz if he didn’t, the results could’ve been so much worse. That’s what I got.

In my opinion Albertos mother was a sea monster and because she was mad at Albertos father she took his arm thats why Alvbertos father looks like he hates a specific sea monster that looks like a girl we see that 2 or maybe even more times.

WAIT. WHAT if…. What if the lulina kid is the man you think is abarto’s father? It would explain why he has two arms in that movie and in Luca one. And then he touches the moon and later when one arms is raising Alberto when he is young is that he remembers his child hood and gives a latter for Alberto to climb. Alberto goes through his imagination and thinks he touches the scaly moon. This would explain why Julia is in touch with space, because in her father’s young age he has a life connected to the moon. And it would explain why when Alberto is in a tower and had a latter to climb. ALSO one arms might have kept the hat when he was a child and given it to Alberto. I think this would make more since, and mostly because you think that he was keeping quiet about a sea monster getting his arm. I was kind of unsure of that. Also, I knew his mother must have been alive because Julia said before she went to the rain to school that she would be staying with her mother during the school year. And lastly, it makes even more since that the lulina kid is one arms father because father and son or daughter and mother usually looks very alike! I hope this makes since bc for me it does a lot.

My own personal theory on the universe is that things like fairy's, elves, mermaids, sea monsters, dragons, things like that actually DO exist. Just in a different galaxy and or planet. I mean, I have no scientific reasoning behind this conclusion but it's not impossible. There's so much in this universe beyond our reach so things we think are myths might actually exist somewhere far away! But idk, thats just a personal theory I have.

Ok this probably sounds crazy but I think Alberto had a twin brother called Bruno who had blue eyes. Bruno was very bossy so whenever he told Alberto what to do he would go silence Bruno. Bruno was Massimos favourite child and often took him on boat rides with his grandfather. Unfortunately Bruno died in an accident which mamissimo lost his arm in. When he went to see Alberto it was to painfull so he abandoned him in the tower

But the mother was really dangerous and had some baddddd anger issues resulting in Bruno’s death and the missing arm. This is why massimo staved the seaweed thinking it was a monster but after he found out Alberto was one he didn’t hurt him because he realised they lived as humans from the way they acted in his home

sorry I forgot but I don't think Massimo was with two people at once after the attack he obviously went to a hospital but unfortunately there where no hospitals near by so he had to get a train he stayed there for a while. this is where he met Julia's mother. Julia was obviously already born then so he's technically a step dad. so when they split up she only got to see him in summer. They split up because Massimo said his heart was in Italy when in reality he just wanted to be near his son. And as for the moon theory this was a story Bruno told albert whenever there was a crescent moon.

So Alberto is left alone and luca and Alberto could be brothers and the brother of maximo could be there father and luca and albertos mom could be Daniela the wife. or massimo had a twin brother named bruno (connecting in the whole silencio bruno thing) and bruno loved the sea and had a child with a sea monster while massimo doesn’t like sea monsters and didn’t believe the stories his brother told him. then bruno and alberto’s mom die in an accident and massimo goes out to check on alberto occasionally and because they are twins a young alberto might not really know the difference so in reality after his parents died massimo went to see if his brother was telling the truth and would go check on alberto but as his family grew he went to see him less and less and that’s why massimo got divorced because his wife wanted to know where he was going but he couldn’t tell her to protect his nephew alberto
