Haven't changed my mice in almost 10 years but just pre-ordered this and I am excited! Edit: I just got the mouse and have been using it for a few hours on my usual games. So far I am loving it more than my old mouse. It ticks all the boxes for my needs and I still can't belive how light it. It weighs almost nothing.

@@MeAmSmart what issues? I've used lots of mice and love my glorious model d? I'm sure there were aot of QA issues early on but I haven't had any issues. My wife has a model O and no issues either.

@@ShaneChandler87 i have a model o, the shape is kinda junky, the switches are cheap and sometimes dint register properly, the build quality is sometimes bad. i really wish i had gotten a pulsefire haste, or a hati m, imagine a model o, but lighter, the same price, but ttc gold switches instead of the cheaper and worse omrons, better shape (hati m is shaped like the famous logitech g pro wireless and the pulsefire haste is also a good shape) they both have very sturdy build quality, and less click travel, so less latency and easier to click especially for me because i play games that need to be able to click fast, also the plastic material on the model o is not that great

I like most things about the prime except the looks and the way the left and right click are pushed up although I do think that it would be good for people using fingertip or claw grip but I use mostly use palm and it’s not as comfortable for me

Owned a Model O since early 2020 and never had any issues with it (other than wear and tear over time, which are from me sweating). I'm planning to get this whenever my Model O breaks, which doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.

Bought the Model O wireless and didn’t have any issues except sometimes it doesn’t let me use it while charging which is kinda annoying, and I just really prefer the shape and size of the D. Well I think it's finally to switch to a new mouse. I've been rocking the Razer deathadder since December of 2013 so this will be a nice upgrade. I've tried the model d at microcenter but was hesitant to grab it but now that there's a wireless, I'm all for an upgrade

I have always used model D because it fits my hand perfectly, the only tip I'll give to people is don't buy mice that every pro is using, use one that suits you.

Who else watching this in 2024 as they are trying real quality wireless for the first time in their lives?I'm getting this one month end as I have the corsair sabre rgb pro 8k and cooler master mm711, I gave my child the awesome first cooler master mm530 that i racked up 1800hrs on cs go and I'm using the redragon fps m711 24000dpi with the 3360 sensor at work.I hope the glorious model d minus wireless will be funn to use

Just got this recently, this is the lightest mouse I've ever used and had to lower my dpi but once I did that... man the flicks(I play Overwatch2) were like butter and I quickly found out why people were on the lighter mouse craze lol. What I will say for those who wanna use the RGB, I have mine set to 10% because even at 40% the battery life was so horrible. But honestly I don't even have the RGB on my customer board on lol so the low light actually works for my setup. Oh and even if you have to use the cord while gaming, you honestly can't even tell it's attached so there isn't even a con there.

I just recently switched over from the model D to the Steelseries Prime. the model D was a GREAT mouse, but sadly it kept having QC issues - be it rattling, broken mouse1, tremendous creaking etc. I really really hope the build quality on this wireless version is improved than the wired variant, otherwise it wont make me switch back.

@@Dasbeerboots i absolutely ADORED the Model D over any other mouse I’ved used ( GPX, Viper, Viper Mini, ZA13, Prime, Rival 310). In the end, shape is king for me. The cable was also so good, basically as long as it had enough slack, it felt wireless, just wish the build quality wasn’t ass.

On paper, Model D is worse in everything aspect (except the weight but I don't care because I use palm grip). Deathadder shape is fine for me, but I was looking for a slightly smaller mice. Model D might be worth buying, if the shape is slightly better.

I bought the viper last year, and I dislike the ambi shape. It doesn't give me room for my pinky, so I just drag it as I aim, which makes it inconsistent. Hearing about this mouse, as well as it being wireless for the same price, makes me want this so much.

other reviewers and testers recommend reducing the debounce time to reduce the noticeable latency. seems like you didn't have a problem with that. just a tip if some people here have issues with the latency. there is a good viedeo on that from another tech youtuber.

I've owned 8 mouse in the last 10 years I'm very quality oriented since I work in that field So what I can say as my model d wired is my daily driver is that the ergo shape is just great On the other side I had to return a couple of them before I got a good one , they both had an issue with the DPI button button , so quality wise I think they're not there yet compared to let say a Logitech g503 but the price and the shape is just great

I just blast mine with compressed air once a month but for the most part it's not bad. I guess it's down to how sweaty your palms get
