Yeah that first setup AIRgonomics (just playing with ya) is super dialed, keyboard to the left, plenty of mouse space and excellent positioning of the microphone/arm. Dope he's on a mini mouse too, happy HSK+4K user here.

Yout coment about soft tubing I disagree with. After doing hard tubing for years, with my last build i went back to a thick soft tubing because 1 its easier and 2 thr aesthetic works at least for my build. Soft tubing can be done well if the time was taken.

Agreed, especially if you're using literally any microphone, desk fans get picked up stupid easy from practically every microphone.

Both for ease of access to ports as well as for airflow. Most folks operate under the assumption that the desktop is far cleaner than a floor, and in the case where your desk is on carpet it allows for air to flow underneath (a lot of cases have fans on the bottom or the PSU intaking air from below)
