Solid video, Phil. That bike spill looked pretty bad. Hope you were able to get your feet out of the pedals (if you have clipless pedals) before hitting the ground. Trust me, I've been there, lol. Some pedals are easier to get out of than others, lol. Btw, you can get a whole new handlebar if need be. The rest of the video looked like smooth sailing. The jazz club looks super-cool.

No, sir! I couldn't unclip in time. I was going so fast, I honestly don't think it would have mattered. Good thing is I had a semi-soft landing in the bushes/grass. Bad thing is a random stick took a chunk out of my arm. The handlebars are fine. The bike shop just needed to loosen the headset, readjust the bars, and retighten the headset. Thanks for watching!

I think what he meant is his leave/vacation request got approved. If you are a US citizen, you can fly to Thailand, go through immigration at the airport, and receive a stamp that will allow you to stay in the country for 30 days. There is no charge associated with the stamp.

You can do it yourself for 1,900 baht. I haven't needed the 30-day extension for quite some time, so I honestly can't remember if it's 4000 baht or 4500 baht that she charges. I chose her service because I don't feel like spending my day around immigration. To each his own. If you decide to use her service, just tell her I sent you. Full disclosure, I receive a small commission.
