It is wonderful to see such a young lady answering questions of perhaps the greatest radio (and tv) comedy series ever made (with Round The Horne) Sancha certainly is a very discerning woman of great taste. Well done Sancha. Most people have never heard of Hancock as the present is all that matters to them - much to their impoverishment.

Made my day see this young lady ,answer questions about hancocks half hour , i thought it was just us oldies who had seen it , Every time i have to giive blood at the doctors or hospital i always ask them have they seen the blood donar, and none say yes So this lady made my day xx

I grew up with the Hancock's Half Hour Radio series in the 1950s - they were masterpieces of comedy that Tony excelled in. I don't think there has been anyone else like him, his humour and his delivery!

Seems unfair because the more he talks, the fewer questions he can fit in before the timer runs out. A lot of the extra wording wasn’t needed.

Got 5 which ain't bad. He was dead b4 I was born but I've seen all the TV available, his film appearances and all the radio available. Did anyone ever hear the episode, I think it was just one radio episode but it could have been 2 or 3 where Tony disappeared in real life and Harry Seacombe stood in for him. As far as I know the Seacombe Hancock has gone for good but is there anyone who remembers it and is the script for the Seacombe Hancock available?

It was four episodes in total were Harry Secombe stood in for Tony. All wiped but they were remade recently for the Missing Hancocks series. All these are available on BBC Sounds

@@thediabolicalliberties8997 Harry Secombe's son, Andy Secombe, played the role his father had played in the originals. One of the lost Harry Secombe episodes was found last year and hopefully will get a CD release. A year before that, the same person who discovered the Secombe episode found another missing Hancock episode ("The Marriage Bureau", with Peter Sellers. It has been broadcast on radio and released as a CD. Hopefully other episodes may be lurking in the same collection of off-air recordings.
