Leather making is one of the worst smelling industries out there. Also coffee/beer making. It only smells good when it's done lol.

There was (and maybe still be) a leather wholesaler and warehouse in Whitechapel (East London). I needed a skin, years ago and popped in for it. The little Pakistani guy sourced what I wanted and kindly walked me through many of his warehouses. The smell....it was GLORIOUS none of this chemical tanned leather...this was pure leather luxury and smelt wonderful. Used them for many years for my hobby needs and they never failed to impress me. I they are still going strong.

В любом ролике посмотри, никто не убирает в цехах, с расплавленным металлом бегают вокруг брошенных обломков, полы грязные, токарные станки завалены стружкой и угроблены небрежным отношением, зато в каждой мастерской топчан и на нем пару аксакалов наблюдают за работой или смотрят что то на телефоне. Восток дело тонкое!

Smaller leather items for whole pieces, the bulk of it will just get ground, mixed with glue and pressed into a cardboard-like "leather". Cheapo belts are mostly made out of this stuff.

Leather is fine for stopping sparks from welding but there isn’t insulation enough for long time hot object holding. And if they get wet heat conductivity increases. They would do in a pinch though and probably be good for doing barbecuing.

Interesting methods off the age old tanning of skins.Very low quality leather …so much waste produced for a low value product.Leather dust makes operatives ill in later life…at least use a cheap mask to preserve your workers lungs.

The Workers of this Unit Should also Use Protection Gloves and Long Shoes in order to protect their body / skin from harsh chemicals also they need to use Face Masks, all these items do not cost too much that they are avoiding to use. Thanks for Video.

“Genuine leather”? It’s pretty basic.. Fake leather is harder to make and usually only exists to help decrease unnecessary animal farms, but genuine cow leather is basically so common it’s basic. (Which is nice, people like it and intentionally getting rare leather is likely unethical.’
