My brother has been watching this build. He also watched your earlier builds. He turned me on to your videos. He lives in Kansas. And visited me earlier this summer. I live in Kannapolis and have talked to you before at their cruise in. From my understanding you are over in China Grove. I am restoring my 70 GTX that I bought here in 1979 and was really fortunate that it was kept in pretty good condition. I have done all the work so far and take inspiration from your more technical expertise. I am teaching myself to weld now and then can continue in a few trunk and floor pans that need welded in. I have a paint booth and will be painting my GTX myself. But again it will be a learning experience. Your builds are a work of art and engineering. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks. The donor 70 Charger for this build came from the Kansas City area. I am down below the speedway in the Harrisburg area. Glad you have found the videos useful. That is my main reason for making them.

I think your issues may be the adjustable shocks this car have and the 20 x 10 wheel. You probably can go to a 20 x 9 but you would need a wheel to clear the big caliber. It’s been great watching the bill. We really appreciate you for sharing and we appreciate the good work man. It’s awesome, thank you
@SteveMirabelli3 ай бұрын
Thanks. When a suspension system gets complicated like this it is hard to do what you want to do and I don't like messing with the factory stuff on these new cars. You are just asking for trouble. Bottom line is the car is just too heavy now for the lowering springs. Heck. The wing alone adds about 100 pound to the decklid not to mention the super heavy steel hood and steel nose.
@stevenaaron68893 ай бұрын
@@SteveMirabelli yea I definitely understand that. What wanna to make you aware of the different ride height options with those adjustable shocks. It can be adjusted in the suspension settings. But those blocks should fix your issues
