Swelling is a sign of high insulin which is not a good thing if it happens regularly. That leads to insulin resistance and diabetes. Sodium is very much a needed mineral and should be eaten generously. The issue is the high carb diet along with a high seed oil linoleic acid diet.. Canola, soy, sunflower, safflower.. Most packaged goods have them..mixed with high carb wheat, corn and soy. Pure filth. Eat fresh. Fast most often. Eat highly bioavailable foods like fatty meats nose to tail eating.
