This is an amazing piece of equipment. I have a bunch of Numark controllers back to the NS6. Rane went above and beyond. I just purchased the Pioneer DDJ FLX10 back in October. If I bought this now my wife would have my head.

As close to my perfect controller as I've seen and considering ordering! One question though. I heard I can midi map the Parameter buttons, but what about the 33/45 shift controls? I'd change those to plus and minus pitch control instead of the fader. Makes sense to have with pitch bend.

No, it does not, you'll need to use the Tap Tempo button to determine the BPM

Looks pretty amazing. As a One user, I definitely support maybe using a lighter colour for the filter knobs. Hard to see in the dark of a club. Other than that and me desperately waiting on y'all to dethrone the MagVel with the MagFive, I think this is the best controller on the market today!!!

How you set your DJ logo in the jog wheel ?

One of the display modes shows album artwork, so the only way to display your logo is to add it to your tracks as album artwork

On my performer I am missing all the FDR FX; I checked in the menu and I do not have the option to chose FDR FX? I double checked and I have the latest version of Serato Pro plus the drivers

How does decks 3 & 4 work when playing separate tracks and not the split stems - how does the rotational movement track between these decks especially if deck 3&4 are paused/stopped?

Well, on rane One platters are extremely responsive so I think they just quickly change the state. Also, that small time to slow down/speed up is ignored by software so it shouldn’t affect tracks

@@allentastic Think of it kind of as CDJ's but motorized I guess... I have DJM S7 and usually play with Phase/Turntables as clubs and bigger venues always have them, but smaller places like bars and such don't so I wouldn't mind some small, easy-to-carry turntable replacement. Also, having things separate means I can upgrade separately and only if I need it.

I hate using usb drives but if you could use an SD card that would be awesome. Also, controllers rely way too much on the power of the laptop for that to be feasible

The internal mechanism and display of the platter seem to be exactly the same as the Pioneer REV7. I know this because I own a REV7. It's great. It looks easy to use because the control switches are all close at hand. And it has 4 channels! I want it!

I have the RANE 4 and I could never find a detailed description of most all the controls that it has. Im this one has some in depth info on many of the controls I never use. I wish I would have waited 1 year and picked up the performer. Maybe I will buy one in a few years.

Rane is all hype ,i have the FOUR and that controller don't have good sound quality and the output section is poor no drive .Denon sounds way better .

When You have mic input You don’t have to switch it to “line” to plug a line level sound source. If You plugs a line source just set gain/level lower and if You plug in a mic - set level to higher values
