Conceived and developed almost entirely during the lockdown, the album "Apocalypse Now" is inspired by the 1979 movie, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, based on Joseph Conrad's novel "Heart of Darkness". The movie tells the journey and mission of Captain Willard: to find and eliminate the dangerous and insane Colonel Kurtz, played by a demonic Marlon Brando.
In the album, we embark on a compositional and musical journey, telling Willard's journey through the forest of Cambodia.
A musical description of the madness of war, a description dramatically relevant today.
