Actually, in the initial few months, babies are myopic, so they can't see far things clearly, so when they see any kind of screen, mostly they receive light, & blue light is harmful even for adults. So it's better if we avoid screens even after 18 months unless extremely necessary for studies or something like that (eg, once in a while for entertainment, but don't make it frequent).
