Those little glass oscillators look a pain to solder back on,they're so smal,need a really steady hand.Do they have to be soldered on in a certain direction/orientation.?

1. Solder the wires according to the unsecured diagram. 2. Read chip lock status. 3. If unsecured read directly - if secured desolder the two components and modify your wiring to read.

Das security byte sezt autel automatisch? Mit vvdi prog muss mann es selbst setzen. Hab vor kurzen nen 2017 range Sport gemacht. Ging gut. Aber auch mit diesen 2 Teilen auslöten. Acdp kann es mit adapter ohne löten

Ja Autel macht es automaisch. Kein "set security". Diese Adapter zum lötfreien Arbeiten sind eine gute Sache. Hatte aber auch schon Schwierigkeiten damit.

Hi. yes it is much easier without soldering. Some tools can do today by OBD. I think it will be possible by OBD soon with many tools.

Today i checked Obdstar writes that support but i didnt want to risk...No videouz in youtube so that didnt happend :) Removed kvm and read on bech for my luck mcu mc9s12xeq384cal was locked .Job done with vvdi2 and vvdiprog conections are the same.And have to remove same 2 components.

What do you mean ? 10th digit VIN ? Try by OBD and Autel will tell you if you have to remove the unit and program by "start key writing" function.

Some keys are unlocked and the tools sometimes reads them as locked. But It should work
