1:16 As much as I love Doug DeMuro, seeing that annoys me so much, because in Doug's video, he moves the seat forward slightly with the regular button on the base of the seat, and not the proper one used in this video to allow rear passengers to get in. He deliberately made the car appear worse than it is.

DonaId Trump yeah it was obvious as I’ve seen other videos of people getting in and out of the back without a problem. Of course Doug is much taller than those people but Doug is much taller than the avg person anyway. Doug’s video on the RR Evoque convertible was pretty much negative. I wouldn’t buy one new but maybe 1-2 years old I would.

I've test driven one (for a laugh, honestly) and I have to agree it's like nothing else. It definitely puts a huge grin on your face and you soon find out if you can laugh at yourself. The only thing I call bull on, Mat, is that at just over 6'2 I couldn't even fit in the back with a short adult in the front! No way can you get four 6 footers in this car comfortably. Having said that, perhaps the expected customers will be a lot shorter and based in London.

Uh Oh! All this time I should have cared whether someone else thinks I look cool. I bought my convertible SUV for many reasons. 1. We get a lot of snow. 2. I LOVE nature. 3. I SEEK comfort. 4. Gas mileage matters. 5. Agility and parking anywhere. I simply don't have time to care whether someone else thinks I look cool. My car is a 5 speed standard (FUN!) with RWD (NOT FWD, so it still handles great) FUN, and has part time 4X4 low or 4X4 for FUN in the snow on my hill. It has a full body frame so I can tow a 1000 pounds when I choose to have FUN (or rescue someone). T-roof gets me a convertible in 12 seconds with no complications due to electronics malfunctioning. FUN! It is a two-seater sports car FUN about half as long as most cars, and can park most anywhere. FUN! OH! And it has air-conditioning so no sweat, I actually have a choice to be cool. When this car first came on the market, all most people would mention is that they thought it was really ugly. Even so, years of fun later, I still can't care whether someone else thinks it should conform to their imagination of what a desirable form is. Oh, and they don't make these anymore, so don't worry, you may never have to see one, but about every second person who sees me parking runs over to ask where to buy one. And I STILL won't care whether someone else thinks I look cool, so if that's what you have come up with for someone else to read about, why bother?.

To me, the regular Evoque is by far one of the ugliest cars on the market. Cutting the roof off seems to help a little. Perhaps it's the hideous window line of the coupe I don't like.
