Just an update on the air suspension (EAS) today. Wife reported car was still at normal ride height this morning, and that it is much more responsive up and down now too. We'll file this fix as a success. Hopefully the system holds up a few years now that most items are renewed.

Hi, what is the software you use for the eas height readings, what caused of the malfunction causing your p38 to have different leveling. I also went through the same, fixes u did, I still have a problem with it rising up, i am still trying to fix it, the compressor works the system is pressurized and sometimes it doesn't rise up, it also deflates overnight, airbags are new, i made a full overhaul of the compressor, and valves o rings, changed the eas ecu, and still the problem persists. Thanks for the very informative videos by the way, this the best channel regarding the p38's i have ever came across.

Hi and thanks for watching Joseph. I made a video (# 56) about the software and how to use it. Check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ammUnKmXqtqCq8k I'll update the description and also link to the other air suspension videos I've made covering all the troubleshooting I've done. My first issue was two leaking air bags, then I rebuilt the valve block with new o-rings, diaphragm etc and fixed the air dryer to get filter debris out of the system. Finally replaced the air lines (temporarily) to eliminate a leak there. Using soap water in a spray bottle is very useful at the fittings to check for leaks. The only last logical item at fault had to be the valve block even though I rebuilt it twice. I'm guessing a solenoid or two are bad. I might get time to investigate that and do a video of how to determine if the solenoids work in the future now that I have a spare known bad block. In your case I might suspect the height sensors. It might not deflate overnight. It can be the autoleveling "feature" that makes the car lower itself over night. I made an EAS disable switch on the dash to fully disable the system when parked. Otherwise mine lowers itself on slight uneven surfaces (and I have those everywhere at home). Check out that video (# 56) and you can see how to find faults and test them. Thanks again for the kind words. Glad I can be of assistance to other owners out there. Good luck!

Thank you for the video. How I can know if solinoid or hight sensor not work fine. Any test

Thank you for the video. I have a answer.... what do you think about your Hawk Eye tool? Is this the best tool or do you think there is a better one out there?

Hi. I do like it and it's been doing a great job. I wish the adapters wasn't so expensive (EAS and SRS) and that it could work without those adapters. Sometimes it would have been nice if you could have selected which live data to view instead of scrolling through a list. And it would have been nice if it worked on multiple cars and brands. I haven't tried others like Faultmate, Nanocom etc but I'm sure those probably could do more but also are much more expensive. So for the money I think it's probably the best. I might try out one of the Launch scanners that I've seen getting good reviews in the future: www.amazon.com/Launch-Automotive-Diagnostic-Bluetooth-Covering/dp/B071DQPN4N/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1536295984&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=x431+pros+mini&psc=1 Keep in mind the P38 diagnostic protocol isn't the standard OBD-II protocol so most scanners won't read it.

Hi im having issue getting cold air to come out of passenger side vents

Hi, to be sure what the problem is you'll need to read the error codes from the HEVAC (heating, ventilation and AC). Check out my video # 16 to see which diagnositc unit I use: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3TWZ3Skj9uGeMU However the fault seems to indicate that the heater blend motors (determines how much cold or hot air) might be sticking or faulty. Check out video # 67 to learn more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXLRcn-qr9aMnK8 Good luck and I hope you find out and manage to solve your issue. Thanks for watching!
