Just put a 6kg spring in this thing and yeah, it's amazing. Almost lost hearing in my right ear aiming down the sights when I fired and it hits really frigging hard. It finally has performance to back up the looks.

I had an Alphahawk once...I was very disappointed about the pour range. Also had a lot of misfires with this gun. I sold it very soon after that.

It's designed to look cool. The day hasbro starts thinking about functionality will the day after pigs fly. And those darts are aerodynamic like a mack truck. Perhaps they're not going as far because, you know, there's a flat vertical surface on their tip...

Drac, I know I'm a bit late on this, but just to let you know, the reason Accustrike darts are shorter ranged is because the energy that goes into spinning the dart (and thus improving the grouping) must necessarily come from the forward speed. So they slow down more, but go in a better group.

The flat tips also are less arrow dynamic than the elite darts which decreases range.

I'll be honest, I really didn't expect the accustrike darts to be any more accurate than normal elites, but I was so very wrong. A nice surprise for sure. That R&D Hasbro did really paid off.

groupings are impressive, but I think the ranges are the blaster's fault. try using a stryfe, or any flywheel blaster, to get better ranges. Another thing. Yes, keep doing the toy lab, it gives us more to watch!

Not liking the performance of the blaster but ive played with the accustrike darts quite alot and can honestly say I cant see much reason to buy elite darts anymore if youve got the money the accustrike darts are the clear choice.

I really want to get this blaster for what it is and not what the ranges are. And when I do get it ill just put a better spring in it to give it better ranges. So then i basically have an n-strike elite blaster with insane accuracy.

Somehow, it has the look of a sniper rifle, but it's everything but a sniper rifle, when it comes to range, the orange Firestrike and MEGA Rotofury outperform it.

You can visually trace the erratic flight patterns of the Elite darts compared to the AS darts.

Nah, it's a reshelled spectre. They just stretched the spring and got rid of some plunger tube dead space. You could do an AR removal, but the newer AR's are so efficient, you'll probably get an extra 1-2 FPS with removing it. Spring upgrades are your best bet.
