Years ago instead of the signs there was a huge cable with buoys going shore to shore. NE side sign is a little down river from the SD side.

Those signs actually use to be a couple hundred yards farther down stream. I put the original signs in. The old concrete pillars are still there on both sides of the river. The one on the south side is close to the handicap dock the other is straight across river.

Lesson learned, don't try to be even with signs, stay back from them for good measure, just incase. Same thing with duck hunting, don't setup your blinds right on the property line, stay away from it about 30 feet for good measure, just incase of a crazy neighbors. It's not rocket science, it's common sense.
