For me I'm more of a Magick Archer switch to Mystic Knight, I think those two are the best vocations in the game, though me doing the barrel jumping glitch, I know have the Dragon's Ire and Glare so I'll be trying one of these now.

When i face skeletons i usually spam heptad shot like a shotgun the spread makes it really useful for dealing with groups of them and it usually one shots them by the time they are entering melee range. Plus i might be wrong but i think it has a lower stamina drain

Awesome video! I like that you used the specialty arrows in this playthrough. The game will cap your usage of them as you saw with the cyclops outside grigori's lair. You'd put him to sleep a few times then no matter how often you tried it wouldn't work again. I also like how you blast arrowed through the cockatrice. Lol I don't give it a chance to cripple me or my team either. 😂😂😂 I know you probably wanted to limit the time but the Griffin bane quest is so epic when you let it flee to the blue moon tower. The cut scenes are memorable and that Griffin has more power than any other you'll meet in the game. Plus Stefen swoopes in with one spell and and declares himself your savior if you fetch his time beforehand. Awesome gameplay. The only thing I wish I'd seen is the petrifying arrows. I think this vocation is the only one that can pull that off. Even sorcerer can't do it without cheating. Nicely done.

Funny thing with the Cockatrice, I always felt like a failure if I couldn't kill it before it fled, like I let the people down of Gran Soren. "Hey guys, I scared him off...... but, I couldn't kill him...... so he will be able to come back..... but I will be taking this boat trip to a Isle soon, this chick Olra invited me, so I wont be here to finish the fight with the Cockatrice......... bye"

Like battlefield, the ballistic mechanism in this game are too damn good. Firing arrows as a strider and especially as a ranger is just so strong and satisfying! Unlike Skyrim!

@TANG WEI SHUN - Oh I totally see what you mean, ranger isn't my favorite at all actually. I much prefer other yellow vocations for shooting due to their superior mobility. Ranger is best used as a static dps so saying it's boring is fair enough imo.

Nathan C same here, really love the game. Too bad the online version was only release in Japan. My favourite class is magic archer (1-10 mage / 11-200 sorcerer). Kill anything in secs , only weakness is froze dragon and golem (high magic resistance).

I felt like I was just hitting a 2 dimensional object with no connection. The game as a whole was rediculous in my eyes.... pet cats, cutsie impractical armors and weapons, and a narrator that was like a crow squaking in my ear full volume. Sorry, just was not a game for me. Rant done 😥

Magic Archer is FUNNER to play. I can kill all the undead or whatever low level goblins a ROOM ..with ONE shot..using those multi target arrows... You just have to scan them :-P If you use delav EXPLOSIVE Arrows..it'll have more RANGE...Plus the arrows will be on FIRE..sticking to whatever. I can hit the UR dragon wing TIPS with them..when it PuSSes out..flies away and purch itself on the tower. So i know it has RANGE just as far as RANGER's arrows. it's sort of like using a SNIPPER gun. Or...I can shoot whatever Chemlia with 3-4 of those arrows...It'll still have alot of HP ...becuase the arrows HASNT exploded , YET... You're SUPPOSE to WACK it....to make them EXPLODE . ( kill it instantly.lmao) or shoot those arrows into HYDRA or Regular SNAKE in the HEAD.. or target your PAWN..while they're climbing those heads :-P or shot the UR dragon in the FOOT to give it a bad case of HOTFOOT. lmao Plus you can also carry a STAFF with you..So you can LEVITATE to whatever places that's hard to reach..such as getting the NOONFlower...or going through the BACK enterance ( witchwood) to get KINGbayleaf.

There is a program I believe is called ddda save manager which you let run in the bg when playing.

On PC literally all you do is move the save from the folder into an extra folder on your desktop and then start a new character and move them as you need them.

Rusted Bow to torpor, which makes sleep last twice as long, then equip the higher damage bow. But with Gamble, it doesn't really matter, I just always have made it a habit for when I use Deadly Arrow

Alexander Boyd lol I did the same grind on offline ur dragon for my sorcerer too. It is very tiring but my magic archer became unstoppable ( weak point ice dragon and golem, they have high magic resistance ) in BB (glass cannon build).

Magic archer is my favorite it is hands down one the best and most fun classes to play and for ice dragons die quickly to explosive volley as for Golems well I have a ranger pawn with high physical defence to compensate

Yeah. Whatever weapons that you have equipped, such as a Longbow and Daggers, or a Sword and Shield you will get that reward. So Dragon's Rancor for Shortbow, Dragon's Dogma for Sword, Dragon's Aegis for a Shield, Dragon's Breath, Dragon's Blink and so on

If you get 2 Rings of Perserverence, and go solo, and go hard mode and kill rabbits and deer for 45 mins or an hour, you can get a vocation to rank9 and get 4 times the discipline points. This keeps your level low but your dcp high

I do and it makes mages/bow users so much fun! Sadly the keybinds are somewhat flawed, you can't bind mouse wheel or mouse 4/5, and the "bow mode" thing is really unpractical. Kinda forces you to use 3rd party scripts, but those jumping trickshots really make it worth the trouble imo :)
