Ranger update + Flash Flood

Well, we attempted to make an update on the marketplace ranger rescue. During so the weather ramped up and decided it wanted to be featured in the video too. A flash flood issue came across our tv just minutes before the water started flowing into the building. We took a drive around town to check things out. I doubt any major damage was caused to the building, everything seemed to dry out in the days after. Fingers crossed

The rain and winds were really something that day. My raincoat only served to funnel the rain down my pants on my 4-block walk to work. I'm now keeping a couple bucks of coins at the studio so I can use the dryers for the apartments upstairs.

Man. I"m so glad there was no quiz after thermostat school. I would've failed LOL! That rainfall and flooding looked downright biblical. Glad you were safe!

When I first saw that water in the shop, and you said coming from the bathroom, I thought the toilet was overflowing. 😅 That is some major flooding! Kinda like what we get here every few years....when it rains, it pours!!! Stay safe, Jay!!

It was exactly like that in many parts here in the UK recently. We keep seeing storm after storm passing over. We can litrally get a months rain in a few hours which just floods everywhere.

Nice work on the Ranger, Jay! It’s coming along nice. That’s a crazy amount of rain. We got rain coming like that this week. Stuffs no joke. Makes me glad I got my basement waterproofed.

Yeah, I'm in Kentucky right now. We've got about 4 to 5 inches. Of snow on the ground and they're saying that the teens we've been having for the past week are done and it's gonna be in the 50s next week with rain. We're about to be in for the same thing.

Not good. I remember flash flooding in the UK, a friend lost everything. His house was 7 feet above the road, and it was over 8 feet deep inside his single storey house. The Rivers Aire and Calder both burst their banks, and my dad’s work was put on duty helping sandbag people’s houses in North Yorkshire

As someone who works for a restoration and cleaning service. I'm not sure if you own the building or rent it (tell owner about the situation so they can handle it) but you or a restoration company need to get the baseboards off that Sheetrock and figure out if the insulation is wet or not in the walls and either dry walls or cut it all out depending how bad it is. Mold can make you very sick. Long time subscriber, don't comment much. Just concerned seeing this. We've done hundreds of flood jobs over the last 20 years. Take care
